...Three Months Later...

Hayun POV

We sat at the table for breakfast. I can't believe it's already been three months since I was apparently dumped. Taeyong's been staying over at his friends house up until last night. I've seen him at school but we haven't spoken to each other. Whatever, it's better this way anyways.

"Taeyong, can you pass the salt?" I ask Taeyong as I kept my eyes on today's newspaper.

I'm not much of a reader but I was trying to avoid unnecessary and uncomfortable eye contact. I just needed the salt and then I can continue to not talk to him.

"I don't know, can I? You have hands."

So we're already starting off like this? It's been three months and he decides to continue being a bitch.

I glare and reach over for it
"Bitch."

My mom turns around with concern. "Hey! What's with that language? Apologize now, Hayun!" She shouts at me.

I just sat there not saying anything.

Tom does a fake cough due to the awkward silence. "You two fighting again?" He asks, loosening his collar.

"Oh please, she's not worth my time." Taeyong says

I clench my jaw at the sight of Taeyong. He's annoying.

I closed up the paper and set it down.
"I can say the same to you, little boy."

Taeyong stood up and slams the table with his fists.
"Little boy?" Taeyong chuckles. "This boy can-"

Tom grabs Taeyong. "Taeyong!"

Taeyong removes himself from his fathers grip. He darts his eyes away from me and put them on his father.

"Anyways, I'm leaving to a friends house after school." Taeyong informed his father before looking at me. "I won't stop by."

Tom arched a brow. "What about Hayun? You-"

"What about Hayun?" Taeyong cuts Tom off. "Oh," He claps his hands. "Is it because she's not serious enough to be on her own?"

"What does that even mean?" Mom asked.

I stood up and pursed my lips together. I held back long enough. "I'm going to strang-"

Mom placed her hands on my shoulders and pushed me down back on my seat. "Hayun!" She shouts my name as her eyes were blazing with fire.

I just want to pretend I never had anything to do with Taeyong. I should have not fallen into his stupid ways.

"Hayun, I guess you can come with me for a bit if you'd like?" Mom suggests.
