Two Years Earlier....

"Hi," I greeted into the camera, "Today is January 1, 3014. My name is Zayn Malik and I am 17 years old. I am one of the founders of the group, The Infinites. We are an organization on a mission to change the world. To bring back peace and life. This is video diary number 1.

"Now, you may be thinking, this is just a waste, that we'll never do much. Well, I'm here to tell you, you're wrong. And everyday, from now until... however long this mission takes, I, and the others who are part of this organization, will be doing a video diary. These diaries are meant to give you an inside look on our work.

"Now, onto what you would probably like to know. Who I am, who the others are, how we started, things like that. I'm afraid I can't answer all that yet. But, I will tell you there are nine of us and we are all teens with a rage of ages. Yeah, yeah, a bunch of teens in some group trying to do the impossible... But we will succeed. And we will not stop until we do. Let me tell you how we began..."

"I say we run away, start our own society. We would clearly do just fine," I claimed, motioning to the camp around us.

"What about our families?" Harry asked as he worked on rotating the cooking deer meat over the fire.

"They can come too, it'll just be our five families," I answered.

"Zayn..." Liam sighed, "Think about what you're saying."

"I am thinking about what I'm saying. I'm thinking it's a great idea!" I chimed.

"What about Fizz, the twins, Safaa? Do you really think they could survive out here? Out there?" Louis pointed to the the deeper, undiscovered forest behind us.

"It's not much better than it is at home," I pointed to the forest in front of us that took us back to our village.

"But home we have friends and neighbors who can help when things get tough," Niall spoke up.

I chuckled darkly, "You mean 'friends and neighbors' who would skin us alive for food if they had to? Get real, Niall."

"We are, Zayn," Liam snapped, "I think it's you that needs to 'get real',"

"Come on, Liam..." I groaned unbelievably, "You don't actually believe-"

Harry suddenly cut in, standing up and wiping the dirt from his torn jeans, "Yes Zayn, he does. We all do," He pointed his finger at me sharply with a glare, "You need to quit talkin' like this. This is the third time this month. You're scaring the shit out of everyone, and you're going to get yourself killed if someone hears and reports that kind of talk!"

I dropped my head at his words and remained silent. The only sounds that could be heard was the crackle of the flames in the fire, and Harry's deep breathing. I knew he was right; we all heard the rumors about people who were supposedly killed by the High-Class because they tried to leave town and make their own lifestyle. While no one knew if the rumors were true, we did know it would be gutsy to test them.

After a few moments there was some rustling before Harry's voice broke the silence, calmer than before, "I think the meat's almost cooked."

As the other four boys got to work on cutting up the meat so they could each take home a piece, I noticed footsteps walking up behind us. I turned to see what it was, though, it wasn't more hunt like I thought it would be. The footsteps turned out to be four girls. I stood up defensively.

"Guys..." I warned, just loud enough to get the other boys' attention.

They all stopped what they were doing and looked over to see what was wrong. When they caught sight of the four figures, they joined me to stand together protectively in front of the meat and fire. We all held the same fear that they were stragglers looking for our food. If that turned out to be he case, we knew a fight would be sure to break out. Being as they were women, I felt a tad uncomfortable thinking about hitting them.
