You Are My Sunshine

Chapter 2

I wake up with PJ sleeping next to me. The tv is still on but the movie ended a long time ago. I see the empty bowl which used to be filled with noodles. I look at the clock and it is ten in the morning. I didn't realize I slept through the night. PJ is sound asleep. His hair is messy and he begins to snore. I giggle and clean up the food we were eating.

I am in the kitchen making some tea and get stuff out to make pancakes. He walking into the room groggy and he rubs his eyes. I smile at him as I mix the batter.

"Good morning sleeping beauty!" I say and he pours himself some water for tea.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" He asks as he drops his tea bag in.

"You looks cute sleeping and drooling on my pillow so I let you sleep." I laugh at his face. "No you didn't drool. Just making fun."

He looks relieved. "So you want to come over and we can work on the video?" I nod and he smiles at me. "I will put it on twitter. So they can ask some questions."

"Should I get a twitter? I don't know how you use it." He laughs at me and I pout.

"It's not very hard! I will teach you." He pauses for a minute to type out his post. "Sometime." I sigh and continue to stir the batter.

PJ used to be so enthusiastic about teaching me something new. Now all he has time for are the videos and school. With him being in college it gets kind of crazy. I shouldn't be complaining. I should be happy that he invited me to do his video with him. I really want to make an impression on him. Let him know that I am hilarious and witty, just like he is. Then maybe he would have me in some of his videos way more!

I finish making the pancakes and we sit down to eat them. I decide to take a shower and he watches tv. I blow dry my hair straight and pick out my outfit, leggings and an old band Tshirt. It's my favorite one, Pink Floyd. I put a little makeup on since I am going to be in the video. Just a little mascara and concealer to hide the bags under my eyes given to me because of college.

"You are finally done." He says smirking at me.

I roll my eyes. "That was a fast shower. Plus I blow dried my hair." I flip my hair over one shoulder. It is almost to my hips, dirty blonde.

"It only takes me ten minutes to shower." I snort and he looks at me surprised.

"You are a boy. Of course it only takes you ten minutes. I was only in there for thirty minutes. Some girls take over an hour. You should be proud of me!" I say and he rolls his eyes.

"Ready to go?" He asks and I nod, slipping on my converses. He grabs his keys and we walk outside to his car. We drive to his house and he leads me to his bedroom, where he does his videos.

"Let me set up the cameras and then we can check out what people are asking." He says and I sit down on his bed. I look around his room, a mixture of different animation shows and other nonsense. I love how he doesn't care what he has in his room, only what he wants.

"You changed your room." I say and he nods as he sets up his camera stand.

"Yeah. When was the last time you were here?" He asks looking up. I stare into his eyes and my heart melts.

"Gosh. I'm not sure." I pause to think. It hasn't been super long but long enough so I don't remember. "Maybe two months ago. But don't take my word on it." He chuckles and goes to get his camera. He sets it up and a red light turns on in front.

"You are recording?" I ask quickly fixing my hair a little.

"Just to make sure I have all of us in a shot." He smiles. "Just act natural. I might add a part about you in it. So say some stuff about yourself."
