"Sam please, you don't have to do this." But Sam ignored him as he dragged Gabe to his school.
"This is not how you fix issues, you don't talk, you fight" "and you would know this how exactly? As far as i recall you've only even talked your way out of things."
"That was before dean left."

Whilst dean was gone, the others that attacked Gabe weren't. And sam stupidly thought confrontation was the best way to make him feel better. It's quite obvious Sam was homeschooled.

Gabe wasn't shaking uncontrollably like the times prior, but was looking down at his shoes the whole way to the entrance. "Do you even know what you're doing, Sam? I mean, seriously, if you weren't stronger than me i wouldn't be about to get killed. You have no clue what you're doing and-" his complaining didn't cease until they were inches from the head teacher's office. Sam knocked, stepped back, and pushed Gabe forward.

"Ah, gabriel. Have you decided to come back to school yet? Come in." The head teacher gestured into her office, slowly followed by gabe. Gabe looked behind him before realising that sam had abandoned him.

They conversation was long and pointless, and when it ended gabe had achieved absolutely  nothing. Sam wasn't there when he came out of the room either. Where was he then?

Gabe wandered around the school a bit, partly because he needed to think, partly because no-one had seen sam since he last did.

A small... Whimpering could be heard from a supply cupboard. Gabe opened it to see a mess of blood and gore splattered across the objects in it, with a disfigured person in the middle of it, crumpled up. Gabe stumbled back from the horrific scene displayed in front of him. His hand reached to his phone and he dialled 999 before hearing a fractured voice echo out.
"Hello? I-is someone th-there?"
The voice was unmistakably Sam's.
"Yeah, Sam it's me, Gabe. Wh-" his voice faltered "what h-happened?" Sam started coughing, blood slightly coming up. "I can't explain properly li-like this" he let out a weak laugh. "Just call for an ambulance, please. Th-they broke my phone, o-or i would have already c-c-called them." His voice for fading fast. Gabe obliged to his request, calling an ambulance. The next twenty minutes were hell. Gabe had to comfort Sam as best he could whilst constantly reminding him that he had already called an ambulance, and that his name was Gabriel.

Sam was given a marker pen to write in case he needs to say anything as he lost the ability to talk quickly once in the ambulance. He tried writing something on Gabe's arm, but it just came out as scribbles.

The last thing Sam saw were the same scribbles reflect on his left arm.
