Yoongi would be lying if he said he didn't enjoy her company. Though she was fast asleep next to him, Yoongi enjoyed looking at her.
The warmth she gave off made Yoongi feel at home.
Sure he did feel guilty for just leaving her like that on that day he left home in Daegu.
He felt guilty for not even giving her a decent goodbye.
He felt guilty for not even telling her the new number he had changed to.
Miraculously, she had appeared in his life again.
Was it fate?
Was it meant to be?
Her messy hair made Yoongi wanted to protect her. A few strands blocking her face slightly.
Yoongi was mad at himself.
Where was he to protect her?
It was clear that she's been abused. She had winced in pain whenever Yoongi's hand touched her back. Her shirt was torn, it was obvious she went through hell.
She thought Yoongi wouldn't notice, but he did. Yoongi hated how every time she'd try to make it seem like she wasn't hurting.
She'd always put others before herself.
She'd prioritized those who don't even deserve it.
He was determined to find out what had happen. Jin who'd been driver's seat was looking at the couple behind through the rear view mirror.
A smile formed on his face.
Way before he even got into that incident with the shooter, he was already way antsy when it comes to the lass. Disneyland got the members shook, Yoongi would probably never spend that much amount of money for someone who isn't even his girlfriend.
Sure they were childhood best friends but that doesn't change the fact that Yoongi doesn't just easily spend money on people who were ''less'' important in his life.
He'd put up a fight but that doesn't mean he's willingly to spend endless money for her.
Prada bags, Michael Kors merchs, Victoria Secret perfumes, shoes from Birkenstock, make-up kits from MAC, no doubt she was pretty, that was all what Yoongi's fiancee wanted.
He'd spend loads when it comes to his deceased fiancee. Probably more than the cost of having a baby.
Jin smiled to himself.
Was Yoongi finally getting over his deceased fiancee?
During those nights when he was in the hospital, he didn't have nightmares. He acted just like a normal being. He acting like his fiancee's death was just nothing.
Jin felt lighthearted for once.
Yoongi was finally moving on. Or at least that's what Jin thinks.
The whole ride home, it was silent. Comfortable silence. There wasn't any conversation going around, the only sound was either from the engine, honks from outside or the radio itself playing a bunch of their songs that made Yoongi's goosebumps rose.
Jin glanced behind to see Yoongi's eyes just never looking away from the sleeping lass. The fortunate thing was Seokjin had a blanket in the back of his car. He put it there for his girlfriend to sleep whenever their outings were too late out at night.
Yoongi pulled the blanket open, gently placing it above the sleeping lass. Pulling every corner of the blanket, making sure it covered up the lass.
