Yoongi smiled as he intertwined his hand with the lass. Her hand fit as if it was made for his. Her warmth made him felt secured.
'I've been waiting to do this since forever.' He smiled, tilting his head slightly since the lass was shorter than he was. His neck was wrapped in a thin scarf. It was March but it was still slightly cold.
'Don't be silly, it's not like we've never held hands before.' The lass smiled, swinging their hands back and forth as they strolled in the park. It was a routine to them.
Everyday before Yoongi leaves for a concert, they'll take a short stroll in the nearest park. Enjoying nature, the view and most importantly, each other's presence. The lass had travel basically all over America with him.
'Never ever since I made you mine.' He winked. Yoongi was leaving in a few days to head back to other places to complete their tour. Ever since he found her that day after the concert, he did not hesitated into making her his. Though it was a lame confession but the lass said yes anyways.
Yoongi was probably the happiest man alive at that moment. Not to mention he's also the happiest man alive now. Being next to her just made him happy already.
Those moments with his deceased fiancee, he was never that happy. Sure he made Yoongi smile from time to time but Yoongi had never been so excited to see her as much as it excited Yoongi to see the lass he was with now.
Not only Yoongi was glad those nightmares were gone, everyone was. Yoongi had started a new chapter in his life.
He was never going to repeat the same mistakes he made. He was going to fully know the lass beside him before actually proposing. What did he even see in his deceased fiancee anyways?
It made him wonder how much of a foolish and childish man he was.
How could someone just marry a person without knowing them fully? She hid her parents from her and borrowed lots of money under his name.
He sometimes still get mad at himself. Out of all the people he could have chosen, he chose someone who only used him. He had every right to choose who he wanted to marry but no, he blindly chose someone who was not meant for him.
That was why God gave him a second chance.
He was only going to want to marry someone that made him special, secure, appreciated, loved. Though he knew his fiancee died in Bang PD-nim's hands, he was assured he did it for a good cause.
Maybe it was a fate to leave anyways.
Ever since he found her again, she had took a few days off from work just to spend some time with the boys and of course, Yoongi.
Taehyung wasn't the same as before anymore. He accepted her and could laugh along with her lousy lame ass jokes that were 200% stolen from the internet. He started to think more maturely rather than act with his emotions.
Taehyung learned to accept her ever since Jin's lecture.
'I can't believe you're going home already. It's too soon.' She pouted.
'It's home for you too.' He bent down to her height before place a soft kiss on her nose.
'I can't just leave work though, the clinic's famous know y'know.' She chuckled.
'What ever happened aye? Was it because the doctor itself tended to the one and only Genius Min Suga?' he asked.
'No, obviously not.' She laughed.
'Then what was the reason?' Yoongi asked, giving her a small pout.
'It's because they have a hot doctor, duh?' She replied while Yoongi gave off a awkward look.
'What?' she laughed as she saw how funny Yoongi's face was at that moment.
'You're just so cute.' He said before pulling her into his arms. 'And you're not hot.' He continued.
'Even if you are, you're for my eyes only.' He winked. The lass cringed at his choice of words.
'Ew.' She gagged.
'I will miss you so much.' Yoongi said. His hand reached up to her head before brushing a strand of hair away from her face.
'I wish you wouldn't leave.' The lass pouted.
Few days weren't enough and every minute went like seconds.
'Come back then.' Yoongi told her.
'I just moved here.' She said sadly. It was true. It has only been a few months since she moved to America. It would be a loss for her if she moved back to Korea again. Her business was going great, way better than her business in Korea and she had spent a large amount of money just to get herself at where she was now.
Yoongi knew how much it had been for her so he kept quiet.
They walked hand in hand into an ice-cream parlour nearby. Since Yoongi doesn't leave for his concert venue for another few hours, they were just going to have some ice-cream and enjoy each other's company.
'2 Chocolate ice-cream please.' Yoongi ordered. His accent was thick and his lisp was probably the cutest thing ever. The first few days, he had slight trouble conversing with the locals but the lass had taught him and now, he was great in conversing but his accent was still thick and he still needed more practice.
'Keep the change.' He smiled as he paid and got their ice-cream.
'Isn't it a little too cold for us to be taking ice-cream?' The lass asked.
'I don't mind getting sick if I'm sick with you.' Yoongi winked.
'Stop the cheesy lines. I'm in pain!' The lass laughed as she clutched her heart as if she was in pain in a joking manner.
They were both just enjoying themselves, licking on their ice-cream as they talked about themselves but what they didn't know was a pair of eyes, observing their every move like a hawk.
