Chapter 10

"How are you sure I am that little girl? I mean, there's a lot of Adele in this world." I shifted my gaze to the ground and stared blankly on it.

"Because I kept this..." Simon grabbed his wallet from the drawer nearby and opened it.

He showed me my 1x1 10 year old id picture that was exactly same with the one I included on my When We Were Young background video.

"S-Simon... Tell me this isn't a joke..." I said as our eyes met.

"No Adele. This is all true and I wished I had met you earlier than today." Simon's tears began to fall after he faintly smiled on my.

"Please don't make me regret my marriage Simon..." I grabbed his hand and tightly squeezed it as my heart clenches.

"I will never make you do that Adele. Because as I have said... I love you. And can't stand seeing you suffering from your situation, that's why..." Simon was cut off when my phone rings.

"Damn it. Ignore that... That's why what Simon?" I shut my phone off and threw it across the bed.

"That's why... I'm willing to help you through out this..."

"How can you help me Simon? I'm already tied with Alex. Isn't it too late for this? For us?" My lips quiver as I imagined myself being with Alex all my life. I know I deserve more, but this is the fate I chose. I should stand by my decisions.

"We're totally confused right now Adele and you do more. But I'll be here... I won't leave you... Time can tell what we really f-feel for one another..." Simon placed a gentle kiss on the top of my forehead.

"So this isn't just a one night stand Simon?" My lips lightly etched a faint smile.

"Of course no baby... You're too precious to be just a one night stand. You deserve better Adele, and I'll provide you that." Simon wrapped me on his warm comforting arms as I felt his tears falling to my bare shoulder.

"B-but how's Alex? He might caught us Simon. I'm afraid..." I began to sob as I worried for our tomorrow.

"Don't be disquieted Del, we can do this... We can make through this... I'll take care of everything... Don't be afraid Laurie, Christopher is here..." Simon stroked my hair and smiled against our connected lips.

All of our memories flashed back. The day when Simon made my ass hurt with his witty jokes. The day when I fell from my bike and Simon took care of my wounds. And most of all, the day when our lips touched each other's accidentally.

"Remember the kiss we had before? You were my first Si..." I blushed and smiled from ear to ear.

"Of course! I would never ever forget that Del... You were my first too... And kissing you right now tasted the same like as our first one. But this is something more incredibly great Laurie... This isn't just an accident... We do this for love... We may be not too sure about that, but I can feel it Adele... This is fate..."

"Simon..." I eagerly stared into his deep blue eyes.

"Yes Adele?" Simon smiled at me as he caressed my cheeks.

"My womb is aching for a baby..." I blushed out of shyness.

"Don't tell me you and Alex-" I quickly cut him off but pecking his lips.

"No. He don't like the idea of having kids..." I bowed my head down.

"Hey Adele... I can give you one. I'll give everything you need and want." Simon grabbed my waist and he buried his face on my neck.

"But not exactly now Si... Alex-" simon hushed me off by cupping my cheeks.

"Yeah, we can plan for that baby... I understand. I just want you to know that I dream of having a family with you..."

"You really do?" I widened my eyes and threw my arms around his neck.

"Yes baby. I think you'll be an amazing mum..." Simon kissed the tip of my nose.

"And you'll be the greatest dad in this world baby..." I placed my hands on his wide warm chest and let his heart beat invade my ears.

Wow... Our heart beats are in sync...
