I was completely surprised of how fast Eleanor and I bonded. I mean I honestly thought she wouldn't like me. We're a lot more alike then I thought. It's pretty cool having a friend who's a girl. She's incredibly nice as well. And how she stood up to Connor, it all amazed me.

I took a deep breath, and went into the bathroom. I slowly took off Zayn's baggy clothes, being careful not to hurt myself and then got into the shower. It felt so good just to relax and feel the hot water. But I already felt uncomfortable being back at the hotel. Being with the boys, I felt safe and protected. But here, I felt exposed, vulnerable and scared.

I washed my body and hair, humming to my self. The hot water felt amazing on my beat up body. I turned off the water, wrapped a towel around myself and stepped out of the shower. I walked out of the bathroom and half expected Connor to be there waiting for me. He wasn't. I dug through my suitcase and got changed into light wash jeans and a black sweater with The Beatles on it. I dried my hair and put it up in a ponytail. Then walked back to the bathroom, bringing my makeup bag with me. I gently applied concealer and powder to cover my bruises, but was careful not to make it cakey. I brushed the mascara brush over my eyelashes and put on some lip chap then took Zayn's clothes, folded them and set them on my bed. I picked up my phone and dialled Liam's house phone number. It rang a few times before I heard the accent. "Hellloooo?" I smiled, "Hey Liam." I said, still smiling though I don't know why. "I was actually about to call you!" Liam chuckled. "Really? Well I know it's 7 but I was wondering if you and the boys wanted to go out for a bite? Like a late supper." I said extremely awkwardly. "Yeah, yeah sure! Louis and Niall are actually gone to a football game, but Harry and I can come. And I was going to call you because.. Well, we can't find Zayn. Have you seen him?" My mouth parted open. "No.. Not since this morning.." I told him. "I've called him probably 50 times but he hasn't been answering. But I have to go, pick you up in 10?" "Yeah, see you then."

What does he mean 'can't find Zayn?' Where would he go? And why the hell wouldn't he answer his phone? He seems like the kind of guy who would tell him friend where he was going and not cut them off. Plus it's been like seven hours since he left for that walk. I pulled on denim jacket with fabric sleeves and hood and also some black combat boots. I walked back to the bathroom and took one last look in the mirror. Then I headed down to the lobby.

I sat on a leather couch in the lobby and waited. I still found it incredibly weird how Zayn just sort of disappeared. My phone started buzzing frantically and I opened a text from Harry.

'We're here :)'

I turned off my phone and jogged through the double doors. There was a black mustang waiting for me. I opened the passenger seat door and climbed in. Harry was at the wheel and Liam in the back. "Hi there." Harry said, smiling. "Hey guys." I grinned. "You clean up nicely." Harry said, he seemed to be looking at my face a lot. He probably noticed all the makeup I was wearing. Last time he saw me I had a black eye, a gash on my forehead and bruises. But it was all covered up. The public doesn't need to know. "So Katie, where do you want to go?" Liam asked. I shrugged. "Where's a good place to eat in London?" I asked. "There's a local Tacobell about 5 minutes from here." Harry said. "Sure, I love Tacobell." I was thinking something like a cute restaurant but it didn't matter. "Great." Harry sped down the road, causing me to slam my head against the head rest. I was surprised of how fast he drove. He passed every car and swerved everywhere. I looked back at Liam but he was just scrolling through his phone like it was nothing. I gripped the side of my seat because honestly, I was terrified. The car skidded to a stop in the Tacobell parking lot, causing me to practically smash my face off the dashboard. "Whoops, sorry love." Harry chuckled. I gave him a terrified look, causing him to laugh more.
