A tail.

A scaled tail whirred past me and hands carried me under my waist.

  A face twisted in confusion stared at me, his eyes seemed to be looking straight through my skin and to my soul.

His eyes, they reflected the color of the ocean themselves. His hair a deep sea green, yet all other investigations led me back his eyes.

Next thing I knew his lips connected with mine and I could feel air rushing into my lungs. How, I had no idea.

   His eyes continued to stare into mine, and all I could do was stare back as I began to drift into a deep sleep. My eyes closed little by little, as I felt my lungs become depressurized by the water's decreasing density.

Hmm am I in Heaven yet. Oh yeah doggy, wait Celestia! Why is she just running past me? Maybe I'm , cue spooky flashlight, a ghoooost.

Or maybe it was all a dream and Celestia just didn't notice me. I mean Love Love Paradise, how could my boyfriend ever get a ticket for this place. I had planned it first and when I went online they were all sold out. And Dante getting jealous of me and Zane hanging out, never! I'd never just give up my own life to the cruel tides. And mermaids aren't real, especially mermen.

  But then why did it all seem so...real. Great so cliche Kim. Next thing you know your washed up on the shore with a merman staring at you from the ocean. Wait ocean, where am I!?

"Kimiko-chan, Kimiko-chan there you are, we've been looking all over the island for you silly, your sunbathing without a towel, and a sun," Kawaii-chan giggled, her laughter bringing clarity to my mind.

   I don't have dreams.
   Just nightmares.
   The nightmare I face everyday called reality.

"Come on now Kim, let's get to our place, your probably exhausted, sorry we left you out here lost," Katelyn apologized, both her and Kawaii-chan were soaked, and their hair was matted.

   "How long have...," but I couldn't finish like some greater fotrce tugged at the back of my mind," wait, Dante and Zane, are they still out here!"

"Yep, last we saw of them,umm I'll let Kawaii-chan explain, but they were out here looking for you, too," Katelyn thought, helping me up as we walked to our place on the island.

   "We didn't even talk to them before they both dived into the ocean, which seems where you've been Kimiko-chan," Kawaii-chan pulled seaweed out of my hair.

"Guess that wasn't a dream," I mumbled.

"What?"

   "Nothing."

"Kawaii-chan will call everyone to say that your ok!"

   "Good idea, Kawaii-chan, I can't wait to get into some fresh clothes," Katelyn said stretching, and I gave her a small smile, choosing not to tell her a joke, about her already looking like she jumped in the washing machine.

"Irene, Kimmy where have you been," Aphmau yelled at me as soon as we walked through the door.

  "Oh I know exactly where she's been," I turned to my left and saw Dante leaning against the wall angrier than ever.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me upstairs away from everyone's questioning eyes, and up to - what I hope - our room.
Only when the door was locked did the yelling began.

  "What the hell is wrong with you, were you trying to take your own life!"

  "I wasn't thinking Dante, I just-."

"Exactly you weren't thinking, that's who you are Kimiko, you not thinking ended up with you where I first found you!"

  "Really your bringing that up Dante, I was scammed out of my house by my ex and you-," then he laughed, not his usual bubbly laugh, a cold hearted, conceited laugh.

"Yeah you seem to have a lot of them scattered everywhere."

   Then I slapped him and stormed away into the bathroom. As soon as it was locked I broke down into salty tears. A finger brushed just under my eye stirring me from my sorrow.

"Kim, come on let's get you dry," Zane said a towel in hand. I looked over at the bath, to find one has already been started.

I loomed over Zane's bare chest and smelled my cookie dough soap on him.

  "Raided my bag I see," I smirked.

"Oh sorry, I forgot mine," Zane said as he started drying my hair.

   "Well that's unusal, kidding, don't worry about it, the smell completes your sweet ensemble," I sweetly smiled at him, and for once since I had woken up on the beach it wasn't forced," I miss you Zanny."

"I miss you too Kimko," one of my many nickname's rolling off his tounge, but this one was different cause it was his alone," I wish you'd leave him."

   "If he doesn't understand that what he just did is breakup worthy than he's not the guy for me."

"Umm I should go so you can change," he stood up to leave but I grabbed a hold of his wrist his hand being the last thing about to leave me.

"Stay..with me,"I said, or more like pleaded, I guess he saw the desperation in my eyes and to my relief he sat next to me and hugged me into his chest.

   "Your all I need, Kimmy," he whispered into my ear as I drifted off to sleep in his arms.

  
Hi I'm back I got a bit of writers block for this story, but now I can't seem to focus on one idea for all of them. I'm going to try and edit past chapters, happy reading, bye!
