When I told them that you cheated,
They laughed and laughed and laughed.
They looked at me like I was mad,
And asked me how it happened.I told them what I felt
And how my poor heart,
Was constantly hurt.
But they asked me to forget.This is what they said;
"Open your eyes", they instructed.
"For all of it is in your mind.
It is story which you weaved".So I decided to oblige them.
And thought it to be a dream.
I rubbed my eyes and opened them,
Stepping out into 'real-life' theme.But then what I found,
Made my heart pound.
At least in my dream, you were my dear friend
But now you've absolutely disappeared.How am I supposed to hang on to this rope,
A tiny line of difference between awake and dope.
Neither can I return to that world of hope.
Nor with this harsh reality can I cope.
