A.N.// My English class was supposed to make a metaphorical poem. (Extended metaphors and such) So enjoy it!!
Upon the Sky's back is where I'd be;
Searching the lands for you.
In the morning I'd ride it like a horse;
Its goal so clear and true.
I'd command it with a wave of my hand,
As it swims across the seas.
In the afternoon as a whale, it groans and moans;
Through the water with ease.
And as it prowls across the plains;
So vast, and so wide.
In the evening it searches with other skies;
Like a lion and it's Pride.
Upon the Sky's back is where I'd be;
I had searched the land for you.
At night I'd find you peacefully sleeping
Upon the crescent moon.
