Essences' POV
After the hour long drive, I finally reach Tay's house. Since her door is locked, I take a Bobby pin from my hair, and wiggle it around in the lock. On the final attempt, the lock turns. I open the door, and run inside. I search around for anything that could lead to where she took Michael. I walk into her kitchen, and I quickly spot a piece of paper. I turned it over, and read the front.
" The Sunrise Hotel? That's like three hours away. I'd better get going....I'm coming Michael", I whisper to myself and run back to my car. I start it up, and head for The Sunrise Hotel. I hope he's still there. " Don't worry little Mikey, daddy will be with us again soon", I whisper again.
Michael's POV
" Wake up Mikey. It seems like Essences may be looking for you. Maybe it's time for us to start "our" life now", Tay whispers to me.
" How do you know she's looking for me?", I ask.
" It doesn't matter anyway because we're together now. No need for this!", she says grabbing my wedding ring and stuffing it in her pocket. I'm trying my best not to say anything out of line right now.
" You love me right?"
" Of course I love you Tay. I promise you that everything between us is back to normal. I promise", I hesitate to say.
" Well if you love me..then kiss me".
" Ummm..."
" Is there a problem Mikey? Would you like to go back into the bathroom?
(sighs) "No"..
" Then kiss me". I reach my head down to her level, and lean in. I can't do this...I'm married, I think to myself. Just as I'm about to pull away, Tay pulls me closer, and we kiss. Soon after, the door bursts open, and we both turn towards it...to find Essences standing there, almost in tears.
Essences' POV
As I burst through the hotel room door, I'm shocked at what I see. Michael kissing Tay. They immediately stop when I walk in.
" What the hell is going on?!!", I ask, almost crying.
" Get back!!!" Tay yells, pointing a gun at me.
" Tay!!! Put the gun down!", Michael says, trying to take the gun.
" You know what Michael? I should just kill you right now. You lied to me. I knew you were lying this whole time. You don't love me. Y'all must think I'm real stupid. I knew that Essences was coming eventually. That was part of my plan. You two are reunited, and I get to kill you both. Now get over there next to her Michael", she responded, pointing the gun at Michael's feet, making him speed up.
" Tay...don't do this. We are best friends...don't do this...if you kill me, you kill the baby", I beg in tears.
" Oh yeah... you're like a month pregnant right? Well how about this, I'll just shoot at your head instead.
" No Tay!!! Don't kill her...just kill me instead", Michael says walking in front of me. Just as Tay is about to aim her gun, Michael moves back, and I jump at her. I grab the gun and throw it to Michael...luckily he catches it.
" Michael! Go down to the lobby, and call the police!! Quick!", I yell, still holding Tay down. Just as he's about to leave, I hear a loud gun shot.
