Faking Pregnant
Chapter one

I hear their whispers, the snide remarks as I walk down the hall. They laugh at me, thinking they know it all, that they have the entire puzzle put together to complete the picture they call my mistake. With my head hid down low, I quietly shuffled down the hall avoiding all contact with anyone I see. Just make it to the office, I thought, picking up my pace.
Taking a right, I stroll into the office looking at the secretary Mrs. Brock before me. She glanced at me through her triangle shaped glasses with disapproval crossing her face before she called Mr. Bender to invite me in his room to talk. I take a seat on the bench beside the door, taking a deep breath as wait to be called into Mr. Bender’s office, the place where I could finally stop pretending. The minutes seemed to drag by but soon enough I was ushered into Mr. Bender's room. I took a deep breath as I entered the room, breathing a sigh of relief.
"Are you okay?" Mr. Bender asked, concern covering his faced as he took a seat across from me. "You don't have to do this, you know."
I straighten up immediate, "I want to do this, and I can handle it. It's just hard, and it's only been the first week," I said warily, picking at a piece of fuzz on my shirt. It's been the first week since I announced that I was pregnant, a week since my hell officially started.
"I understand, but this is only the beginning. It's only going to get worse."
Sighing, I answer, "I know, but I’m still going to do it." I take the fake stomach out of my shirt. "Just make sure that no one else knows beside you and my parents," I stated, feeling my soft stomach without the stuffer. The stuffer is about 10 weeks, showing off a little bump when I put it under my shirt. I got this cheap thing off E-Bay, for about 20 bucks. It wraps around your stomach, and latches in the back so when you move around the stuffer won't fall off. The baby bump is filled with foam, I’m guessing, giving it the soft but hard enough look that when I wear it, it wouldn't dent when something mashes against it.
"Will do. Just make sure that you have no regrets. Think this out carefully and call me if you need me," he stated, looking at me with concern clear across his face. Good ol' Mr. Bender, the kind hearted man who I treated just like my grandpa. With his rosy red checks, and plump belly, it’s hard not to love him.
"I better get going; I have to get to class," I said, sighing. I picked up my stuffer and latched it on; looking in the mirror behind me to make sure it was in place. "Thanks for everything, Mr. Bender." I fixed my hair and shirt; it was time to go to class and face the whispers and remarks when I walk down the hall.

I can do this.
That was the first thought that crossed my mind when I entered my next class, drama. Drama always held a special place in my heart. The teacher, Mrs. Williams, adored me, but when she found out I was 'pregnant', she quickly turned and despised me; she judged me right on the spot. It really stung, but I soon got over it; it's not like I was really pregnant.
*Flashback*
Walking into drama, I realized I was the first one there. I smiled, I loved being the first one, it means I can have a couple of moments alone with Mrs. Williams. I shuffled toward her office, taking in the posters of Broadway stars and famous actors. I loved it.
