Sam sighed, staring down at his phone screen. It was probably the twentieth time trying to call you. He was angry but mainly worried, "Why won't she pick up?" He mumbled to himself, pressing the call button again. He had been with Steve for most of the day, when he left the house you were already out. He didn't think much of it, it was weird you didn't tell him where you were going but he figured you were still a little mad at him after a little argument last night.
"Maybe she just needs some time alone," Steve said handing Sam a coffee as he took a seat next to him, trying to stop his friend from worrying so much.
Sam took the coffee and looked up at him. "If that was the case, she would've told me, damn I regret everything I said but it was about something stupid, she would've at least picked up by now or- told me where was going," he sighed , pinching the bridge of his nose as he stressed out. Just then he received a call, he rushed to pick it up, just in case it was [Y/N] . He didn't bother to reading the caller ID.
" Hello , [Y/N] ?! " He shouted down the phone , his vocal cords coated in worry and sadness. "Hello is this Mr Wilson ? Sir there has been an accident , I'm sorry " A woman on the other end informed him and continued to explain what had happened to his girlfriend. All of a sudden Sam got out his seat and ran straight out the door, leaving Steve clueless with a shocked expression
" Sam ?! What happened , where are you going ?! " He asked but by the time he had finished his question Sam was long gone down the street. Steve sighed and grabbed his coat , before trying to catch up to him. After all he wanted to make sure he was okay.
By the time Sam had got to the hospital he was a sweaty mess by he couldn't care less. He just wanted to see her face, he needed to know you were alive. He rushed to the room the receptionist said you were in, barging inside like his life depended on it.
"S-Sam?" A weak voice came from the hospital bed and filled him with emotions. He looked at your form , all sorts of tubes connected to machines. It hurt. It pained him just to see you like that and to think that the argument you last had could've been the last time you could say anything to each other. He couldn't stop the tears from from dripping down his face as he ran to your side and carefully engulfing you in a hug.
"[Y-Y/N], I'm so sorry I didn't mean anything I said, I was being stupid, I'm so happy you're okay- or at least alive. If you died I don't know what I would've done-" his voiced sounded strained, obviously miserable. You looked up at him and smiled as he rambled on and on about how sorry he was.
"Sam, shut up. I love you but if I hear you say sorry one more time I might have to slap you," You said with a chuckle. Sam took a deep breathe and smiled down at you, taking your hand in his and intertwining their fingers.
"You almost died but you still got attitude," he chuckled, " But I'm not complaining, I love you too," He leaned down and kissed your head. "But you better not get hit by a car again," He joked, making you roll your eyes. You loved this man how?
