Chapter 1: My Hero

Hey guys so this is my first chapter and I really hope you enjoy it. And I would love some feedback. Enjoy!

The sun streamed through my window and lit up my room, as I yawned as stretched I hear the birds chirping, and singing their song. I rolled out of bed and slowly made my way over to my window. I moved my curtains to take a peek outside; as I looked out I realized how beautiful it was outside and decided it was a perfect day for a stroll. I wandered over to my wardrobe and picked an outfit for the day. As I changed I thought about my recent dream. It involved the man with the blue box again. In this dream he took me somewhere completely different, instead of going to space and see the stars and planets, he took me back in time. I never knew he could travel through time as well, and the dream seemed so real...he seemed so real.

I sighed as I finished changing and I decided to go for my stroll before I would eat. I ran downstairs and grabbed my phone, throwing it in my pocket and headed out the door. As soon as I walked out the door the sun hit my face and the cool breeze blowing through my hair. I started walking down the street just enjoying the beautiful day. But in the mind I still couldn't get the dream out of my head. After a while I had a strange sensation, I felt as if someone was following me. I tried to just ignore it thinking it was just my imagination. But the feeling never left me, I turned around but no one was there, but as I kept walking I kept hearing footsteps. I finally turned around again, but again no one. I turned back, and then all of the sudden there was a hand over my mouth. I tried to scream but I couldn't. I was dragged into an ally. I was so terrified; the only thing I could think of was to bite his hand so I did. He moved his hand and I screamed as loud as I could for help. He slapped me and placed his grimy hand back over my mouth. I was terrified, I wanted to scream and cry, and it was so overwhelming I couldn't handle it. He slowly smirks and reaches out, trying to touch me. I reacted on instinct and slap it away. I can't help but become even more terrified and here him growl. I see a fire in his eyes and I can only think the worst.

Suddenly there is a noise, a wheezing, groaning sound. The man turned away from me to see where it was coming from I looked around as well, curious to see what it was. Out of nowhere a blue police box appeared I couldn't believe it. It was the blue box from my dream, but did that mean? Abruptly a man burst out from the box...but I couldn't see who it was. It was too dark.

A deep voice, with an accent, an Irish boomed from in front of the box. "Let her go!"

"Or what?" laughed the man still keeping a tight hold on me. And he yanks me closer and I yelp.

The man near the box grew angrier as he heard him hurt me. "I will call the police and you will regret it, let her go!" He was in rage. It was scary but for me it was a relief.

He laughs even more and looks at him, "look at the little boy trying to be a hero." "You don't, scare me, you are weak".

I looked over and the man from the box phoned the police, but as soon as he hung up he stormed over. With one swift motion he knocked out the man. I was in complete shock and looked up at him. He looked down at me softly and gently took my hand.

"Come on love; let's get you out of here." He ran into the blue box pulling me inside along with him. I looked around inside and am in complete shock and I slowly walk around inside. It was massive on the inside compared to the outside. It was ten times the size on the inside. Ear him chuckle and I turn to face him still in complete shock.

"What do you think love?" He had this knowing look on his face as if he knew what I was about to say.

"I-It...It's smaller on the outside." I started to look around again but I see his face change to just a normal smile. And I hear his cute laugh again.

"That's a first" he looks over at me smiling at me. "So love what is your name?" I look over at him and walk towards him.

"Uh...Taylor. " I smiled shyly "Thank you by the way...for saving me." I looked down feeling a bit shy.

"I was nothing" He was still smiling. I finally looked up at him and I gasped. He was the man from my dreams. He was young, very young. He had blonde hair and beautiful ocean blue eyes that sparkled and were full of life. He was incredibly handsome, just like in my dreams. He looked over at me confused.

"What's wrong love?" he asked after hearing me gasp and seeing me stare at him.

"Y-you were in my dream...every night I dream of you and this box...you are real." I say in disbelief. He chuckles again

"I'm as real as real can be love and so is my lovely box." He smiles at me softly.

"What is your name?" I ask him. He looks over that same smile still on his face.

"I'm the doctor love." He said while walking over to the controls smiling as usual. And I asked the famous question that everyone asked him.

"Doctor...Doctor who?" He looked at me softly then laughed his wonderful laugh. I looked over at him feeling confused.

"Just the Doctor love, just the Doctor" he smiled and looked over "Oh and the box is called the TARDIS, it stands for time and relative dimension in space. It travels through space and time and can go anywhere. And I travel through space and time". I gasped again.

"Exactly like my dream..." I couldn't believe, the doctor, my doctor was real. The man I wished would come take me away was here, he was really real, and he wasn't a dream or part of my imagination.

"Well love how would you like to join me? I owe you at least one trip to after what you just went through." He smiles over to me.

"G-Go with you?" I was in shock he was actually asking me to go with him. He was actually going to take me away.

"Yes one trip anywhere you'd like, what do you say love?" He looked at me hopefully. Go with him? Travel with a man I just met? I just don't know... should I go?

So that was the first chapter, I hope it was good and you enjoyed it. Again I would love feedback. I am hopefully going to start the next chapter and upload it later today.
