he was resting in a rooftop of an old building. he looked at the sky as he reminisce what he has done to the nct members. he smirked and laughed as he remembered seeing taeyong and jaehyun's reaction for those who have they lost.

he looked at his phone and looked at the picture of nct as a group, with three of them crossed out while renjun and chenle's face were just slashed since he didn't get to kill them. "tch, not satisfied with just three people. and this two is probably guarded. then i'll just kill these two"

he said as he zoomed on the picture looking at this next two targets. he then furrowed his eyebrows, "hmmm i wonder who'd i do first on nct dream" he said to himself and let out another laugh.

its been a week after the car accident happened. the killer didn't make his move yet, and they have no idea who would be targeted next. taeyong and jaehyun were in a cafe, taeyong thre his phone on the table which taeyong caught before it fell.

"hyung, i know you're frustrated but we're in a public place. keep calm" jaehyun said and placed taeyong's phone infront of him. "i don't know what to do anymore, jaehyun. we can't find a pattern on how he hunts our members."

"i thought we agreed on my theory?" jaehyun said and recalled his past conversation with taeyong.

"i have a theory hyung. what if he kills every week? for example, ten hyung died on thursday right? then doyoung hyung too. the accident happened last week thursday as well, what if it attacks another member on thursday?"

taeyong had a flashback on their conversation, "eh" he said. jaehyun scoffed, "okay, like yours was better" jaehyung said.

"maybe, but what if it's base on the signs he was leaving? the X mark, the notes, what if there was a pattern in there that we didn;t see yet?" they gathered the notes they got from the past deaths of their friends.

they placed the picture of the x marks from ten and doyoung, and also the note they got from winwin's hand. they spent an hour and a half trying to figure something out. "or maybe this are just him simply saying he'd be killing more of us and that X is his way of saying he killed a target" jaehyun said. taeyong scratched the back of his head.

"it was a maybe!" taeyong prosted. "yeah well we wasted an hour and a half staring at those pictures" jaehyun said and drank his coffe, taeyong let out a tch. "but i think he'd attack again" taeyong said staring outside. "to even something?" jaehyun said.

"good, you catch on pretty quick," jaehyun let out a tch. "i'm guessing he gave up on renjun and chenle and is planning on killing two more of us to even it out" taeyong said, jaehyun nodded.
