after a month of knowing the truth and with no incidents happening. they started to carry on.

"hyung! we'll just step out" jeno said. taeyong nodded, they went to a nearest park at their place and wanted played basketball. luckily there was a ring in the court and they get to play. they just kept playing, some people giving them the look. a group of boys then invaded the court.

"look, it's one of those nct" they heard them whispering. jeno looked at jaemin and shook hid head, jaemin took a deep breathe and tried to ignore them.

"i heard that half of their members are dead already"

"really? that sucks"

"or maybe they commited suicide, cause they can't take it anymore?" then all of them laughed. even jeno can't take it anymore. jaemin threw the ball to jeno which surprised him, he went to the guy and punched him hard.

"say that again" jaemin said through gritted teeth. jeno let out a tsk as he walked to jaemin, pulling him away. jaemin shrugged jeno's hand away, "let it go, jaemin" jeno said.

the guy stood up and smirked.

"i said they commited suicide. your company maybe tried to cover it up by saying they got killed because it would-" jaemin didn't let him finish and punched him again.

then one of the guys went near jaemin and punched him too causing him to fall. it made jeno furious, he then threw the ball to the guys that punched jaemin and threw him a punch too.

jaemin quickly stood up and backed jeno up. he went to the guy who was pissing him off awhile ago and fought with him.

"don't you dare say things about my family because you don't even know them!" jaemin exclaimed, while he continued punching the guy's face. jeno tried to fight off two guys at once, jeno knocked the other guy out.

he then went to jaemin and punched him to get him off his friend. jaemin was about to attack the guy that pushed him off when they heard whistles.

jeno and jaemin laid down panting, they sighed. they were the only ones left and was sent to the police station.

taeyong and jaehyun were called. once they arrived at the station taeyong signed some forms and was told that this is a warning for jeno and jaemin.

on their way home, it was quiet. taeyong and jaehyun were walking ahead while the other two is behind them. jaemin was falling behind trying to recall what those boys were saying. he then felt a hand cover his mouth with a handkerchief, he struggled to call them as he slowly loses consciousness. he got pulled into an alley.

jeno looked back and saw jaemin gone. "jaemin?" he called. taeyong and jaehyun looked back to see what was happening.

"where's jaemin?" taeyong asked. "i don't know, he was behind me and-" jeno then noticed a piece of paper in front of him, he picked it up. his eyes widened and gave the paper to taeyong.

"fine him or he'll die" says on the note.
