The Killers are AWESOME !! Anyone heard "Cowboy Christmas Ball" ??

Since nothing much happened yesterday, I didn't want to bore you again like the day before.

We were supposed to be visited by the family where I spent pretty much my whole summer holiday.

I was "employed" as a babysitter/private tutor for their three children- a 6 year old boy, a 5 year old girl and a 1 year old girl at that time, now there's a second baby boy ! We Africans are faaast !! 0.0 - even though I was paid to take care of just the boy Chibuike.

The girl Confidence-I read somewhere that african parents name their child after the things they lack or want, other examples were Success, Happiness, Favor and Green Card O.o - joined in 2 weeks after I started and her mother immediately unenrolled her from Nursery School for the whole summer.

She and her smaller sister Goodness aka "Goody" -once again african parents !- were the highlight of that summer, the elder brother was like... an older brother, responsible, cautious, you know all that boring stuff the senior ones have to be, while the two were two insurgents willing to do anything and everything as far as it wasn't allowed.

They all called me Teacher for a while, which sounded like "Teeta" when Goody said it and then after some time "Petoot", "Prreshos" and "Pleshos" was to be heard through the whole house. Yes ! I was fame. At least in the eyes of those kids, or maybe it was a plan to avoid getting too much homework :/

The best and at the same time most depressing part of the whole "Teeta" experience was the end.

On the last day Jess and I came up with the idea of taking them all to the park instead of just being indoors and learning bluaah -_-

When we got there Goody was in the hospital because she had caught a bad cold that morning. So we decided to help their mother a bit by cleaning up the house before she came back. Despite being the rebellion she was, Confidence aka "Conny" ;) agreed to help us out on one condition:

"You..you..you must put us Teletubies to watt this morning", I can still remember how she stood there looking at me with her hands laying on her waist and her very serious eyes that always have this look on them, like she could clap you with a couch or something.

So me being the coward that I was, I agreed to the torture without objecting. :(

After like two hours or so we were done and Goody had come back, so we got them all ready and were ready to go, armed with a rucksack filled with 3 apples-which no one ate- and two drinking bottles.

I can't remember much about the park-party, but I do know that it was greaaaat and that they didn't want to go home, so Jess and I literally carried them home -Thank God they didn't live too far away from the park-.

And when it was time for us to go home, they all started shedding tears, begging and stating reasons why we wouldn't want to go home voluntarily like:

"Who will give Goody thips (chips) when she starts crying again ??"

Or

"What if I forget how to say Monday to Friday ehh??"

Chaii !! If it was up to me, I would stay longer to make sure everyone gets their thips and nothing gets forgotten, but it wasn't and my dad would hang up the phone if I even dared to ask...so we rushed out so no of them could follow and shut the door on their wailing. Life's Hard !

Funny enough their father called again a week later and said he was inviting us to McDonald's (in african: I'll give you enough money to take these kids away for a day and let me rest!! ) and we agreed.

The next day we went over to their house -an hour's drive with the bus- and picked them up to be on our way again, nit forgetting the hugs and big big smiles on everyone's faces. Ooh it feels good to be back once again !!!

45 minutes later we were at the nearest McDonald's Restaurant and had our meals in front of us. The rest is like a shade of gray in my remembrance, but I do remember carrying a sleeping Goody all the way from McDonald's, in the bus towards home -her sleeping even got me a seat...I'm special ☆.☆- going home on that day was like being at war front...once again.

Anyhoooow, they came over to visit today and believe you me, I was only seconds away from getting a clap on the face with Confidence's leg on my head... as she put it... because I didn't bring her chips fast enough. She also said that I wasn't her best friend anymore, though I can't remember ever being that to her 0.0

Goody clapped me on the face two times, cause she felt like it and Chibuike (translated God is my strength) begged to play more games on my phone and laptop while watching Mr. Beans, which is theoretically impossible, but let's never underestimate the mind and abilities of the young generation aye ?!

Saying goodbye was equally hard this time but we all knew it had to happen somehow.

♣PEACE AND QUIET♣

Upon finally finishing with my house chores and cleaning up the mess they had made, I took a bath and called it a night.
