Well good moooorning!!
After sleeping for like only 3 hours,I'm sure even you would turn off that damn alarm when it goes off at 08:00 telling you to get ready for church.
Somehow the damn thing was stupid loud but I still managed to fall back asleep, even though I knew I shouldn't have, so I ended up waking up by 08:38 ;( with a mini heart attack thinking we had already missed church.
Half asleep, half awake, I asked my mum if we really had to go and hoped she would say no but deep inside I wanted to go, because you know... its New Year !!
So since I had confirmed that we were really going I was getting ready to take a bath when...
"Shoo (my nickname) your phone's ringing again, come and take it", Jessica called from inside our room.
"Check who it is ", I said locking the bathroom door.
"goosh ! Its Emanuel agaaain !", she cried.
"Leave it!! Just let it ring maybe he'll stop, he sent an sms too shebii ?"
"Eeeh... he sent me one too, he wants us to serve mass again !"
So this Emanuel guy is like an assistant pastor or something like that in our Catholic Church here and ever since there was a fight in church and a new priest was brought, he kinda like tries to be a secretary. Every sunday he sends an email to my sister and I in the morning reminding us that it is Sunday and that we should come to church 0.0 ... like my alarm doesn't do that already!! >:(
I pray all the time that he runs out of credit on Sundays at least or loses our contacts, cause seriously I feel like I'm being stalked !! :0
09:00 I woke ma bro up to go take a bath ... is it only me... remaining hahhaa
"Ugo! wake up go and baff", i started
"No..Why is it only me?! ", he was almost sulking. Hahahaa maybe cause you're the only one who hasn't taken a bath ??
Jess and I dresssed in silence cause I refused to do her the favor of handing her her socks which by the way were just centimeters away from where she stood.
We still ended up laughing and making funny gestures cause she couldn't believe that her english was a limited edition and she only read books with simple english where the chapter already tells you what happens in the next 6 pages.
My bro seemed to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed cause when I went to him like :
"Heeeeeeey :D", and he was like..
"Don't do any nonsense.. don't just do anything" , and kept brushing his hair for what seemed to be 20 min...
Leaving him to his divadrama, I went on to singing
'Goosey goosey wonder
where shall wonder
upstairs and downstairs
in my ladychamber
then I met an old woman
who couldn't say her prayers
Goosey goosey said
Quack Quack Quack !!
with my sister who was dropping the beat with a ruler to her stomach... yes !! We're reaaally grown up I must say
But then... do geese quack ?? 0.0
Then mama came out and the show was over :(
Do African parents ever say thank you ?? O.o
We left for church at 10:12 though mass starts at 10:15 and in order to serve mass we had to be there... 2 min ago and the ride to church was 10 at most soo.... JACKPOT !! we can be a normal church member today *\0/*
Why are timbs so in style this yr ?? I just say 3 women walking down the same way, all wearing timbs !!
Almost all the girls in my school look like they're in some kind of cheer leading club.. all with the same shoes even my sister... though I brought the trend to school ;) everyone was like
"why you wearing guys shoes"
Now who's wearing guys shoes aye ??
my shoe cupboard !!
Anyhow, we finally arrived at 10:20.
Mass was great, we talked about the wall separating Bethlehem from Jerusalem (really sad !)and I saw Benjii (Benjamin)!! A swagger baby, very shy at first, but get to know him! uuh ! you'll love him!
He even sang along with the church as we sang " Silent Night" and he's just a year or even less !!
After mass, the priest invited us all to breakfast in the church hall where there was a little variety of baked food with coffee or tea. Benjii talked/ shouted the whole time probably cause he thought everyone was doing the same /:
The annoying part came when that Emanuel guy started asking questions about why we had come late, he even went on to tell my parents that they should bring us to church earlier or he would do it himself !! He was like: (In german) "Warum zu spät kommen ? Ich bin..ich muss 5, 6 uhr Kirche sein jeden Tag.
Sieh.. da.. draußen mein Auto, ich kann euch zu Kirche fahren wenn zu spät kommt", and for some reason Jessica was laughing the whole time.
Mum and dad were like :" hehe sholegon (Entschuldigung) jaa hehee " and all they were telling jessi and I how good it would be if we served mass till we started university (2-3 more years) and that the church may even pay for our accommodation and buy us yearly bus tickets (€100 a year !) And that we should attend the weekly church meetings and bla bla bla...
THEY HAD SERIOUSLY PLANNED ALL OUR WEEKENDS FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS WITH SOME GUY AND A PRIEST AND TOLD US ABOUT IT IN THE CAR !!! D:<
So the whole ride home was more or less boring/annoying/frustrating/say-byebyetoyourweekendsfortherestofyourteenagelife-ing.
After Jessica and I were done with our daily but necessary fights, I started working on my english project : Create a tourist guide brochure of the town/district you live in. I know I know it's like a baby assignment but here where the kids and most of the adults are still learning english, that's like an exam or something.
A caribbean salad with kidney beans and steamed corn served as lunch/dinner before my project was finally done at 21:00- I probably would still be sitting on my laptop working on the project if it wasn't for my sister, she ain't that bad afterall ;)
Two films more and the day was over... at least for me.
#Blade still rules !! but am tired /:
So the second chapter is dooooone !!
Its seriously loong, but I couldn't share my life into two different chapters could I ??
Chapter 3 coming soon ! Thank you veeery much for reading so far, it really means a lot to me ♡ .
