We were sitting down doing nothing when I finally asked my friends " so what are we going to eat?"
" Humans duh." Michael said.
" What else?" Aaron followed.
" I don't know. Wouldn't that be a little weird eating our own I mean we have to find something else to eat don't we?" Dawn pointed out understanding what I mean.
" Shut up Dawn. God you and sucking up to Racheal gets annoying' Aaron yelled at him. I could always tell Aaron hated Dawn for some reason but never said anything because of the fact I would rip his throat. Even as a shark he wasn't ever the tough one so I wonder why now he would say something and not expect me to do anything, after all as me being a mermaid he had the advantage but I am pretty sure now he as grow up, really wrong choice.
" What did you just say?" I ran up to him and held him against the wall by his throat " I will end your life if you ever speak that way to him again and I don't care about you more then I do him. Got it?"
" Y...y...es...yes" he stuttered. I let his throat go and he fell to the floor holding his neck with a scared yet death look in his eyes.
Michael, Alyssa, and Ray-Ray are smart to never talk about him like that with me in the same room. I mean they are my friends and I love all 5 of them but Dawn was always with me and he was my first 'pet' and my best friend ever and Ray-Ray is someone I grew up with so even I get protective over him but I know he will take care of me if I needed it. We all grew up together since we were 5, but I still don't trust them all the way and we have been together for 20 years. Sad isn't it? When you cant trust your best friends. Sometimes I think everyone hates the way we are you know that we aren't the same group of sea people I mean sharks, mermaids, and a fish who all eat humans "that have done thing wrong" so everyone in the ocean say but I know the truth its humans they have been doing nothing but pollute my home all of our homes it used to be blue so lively and everyone got along everything was all we loved, then the humans broke there deal...
FLASHBACK TIME ( not from Rachael's POV)
Everything was going great, 1,000 years ago, humans were keeping the sea clean and mer-people made sure there we no storms or anything that could kill the human race. King Triton was talking to humans about how they need to stop eating fish, when out of the corner of his eye he saw a group of boys putting trash in to the water.
"SO YOU THINK I WONT SEE THAT?!" he yelled turning to them and hitting them with a lighting zap from him trident. He was angry with them messing with his home, his friends, his royal subjects, and his family that he killed the boys and declared war among the land and the sea as soon as he did all of the sky turned dark and rain fell of them Heavens thunder and lighting crashed. When the king was mad there was no turning back the humans had to fight or they would all die. Now you may think that this is stupid and wondering "why war they just dumped a little trash in the sea". WRONG. They had been doing the damage to the sea and never thought for a second on how anyone would feel about it.
So when the humans broke the deal so did the mer-people and a war went on for around 956 years and ended with the humans running around the Earth going to different places and with that the King broke the land into pieces. With that the mer-people still for unknown reasons help the humans even as they continued to mess up the sea and hurt everyone in it.
NORMAL TIME ( RACHAELS POV )
" I don't think I will ever understand human clothes and why there is always so much of it" I complained to Alyssa.
" Well I kind of like the way this outfit looks, but maybe not the hair its so weird" she giggled.
" Well im going to fix mine to match me" I said snobby like. I got completely undressed and put on a night dress (can you believe it they even have a dress for night and for boys something is really wrong with humans) and ripped off all of the unneeded layers like with ruffled parts gross so... what's the word... girly. Then I cut the sleeves off and part of the bottom so instead of it going and dragging on the floor it goes up to my knees and thank god that this dress was already purple so it looked great.
