Sandy Point Of View
I could hear soft murmuring as I slowly let my eyes flutter open, I was back in my bunk even though I specifically remember falling asleep in Harry's arms.
"Wait... What?!"
I slid out from my bunk and pulled Harry's shirt down slightly, feeling a little self conscious before I rested my ear against the door.
"I'm sorry Paul, but I couldn't just leave her. He was treating her like a dog and she is Niall's cousin. What if you walked in on your best mate's cousin being abused?"
I bit down on my lip, harder then I had intended but that wasn't in my priority books right now. Why had Harry told the boys about what happened? All because of that stupid guy in the motel, now everything was ruined.
"I respect what you've done, Harry. But if she comes with us what's to say that her boyfriend-"
"Ex."
I couldn't help but laugh softly and quietly at Harry's interjection.
"Okay, what's to say her Ex boyfriend won't want her back? I was hired to protect you boys and I come over this morning to see Harry looking like someone's punching bag. If you want to protect her then get her boyfriend locked up and let her go on her way. Bringing her on tour with the way some of your fans act towards any girl around you isn't protecting her."
It was silent for a few seconds and I swallowed hard, the anxiety was almost too much. Suddenly the door I was leaning on opened and I stumbled into the room, landing in someone's arms. I looked up nervously but instantly felt better when I saw the curly brown hair I was now so used to. "Deja vu." Liam chuckled and I smiled his way, but I couldn't manage a laugh like he could. "So this is Sandy? Just like Niall." I looked over at the older man, having to sweep some of my blonde hair out of my eyes as I stood up straight, no longer needing Harry's support. "How much did you hear?" The man asked as he intimidatingly crossed his arms. I swallowed hard and struggled to get any words out under the pressure, so Liam cut in for me. "She would have heard most of it, knowing Sandy. When you talk about her she hears everything." My cheeks tinged pink but not in a good way, more out of embarrassment. "So you know what you have to do?" I nodded, but figured that I should speak up now when I knew Harry wouldn't be able to argue with the man in front of me. "Dan, my boyfriend-"
"Ex." Harry cut in again, making a few of us look at him.
"Well he said that if I don't go back he had footage of the day that Harry got me out, it looks a lot like he was kidnapping me." The look that Harry shot me made me sink back slightly, I hadn't meant to upset him but he knew himself that he couldn't argue with his career. "Sandy, we'll get you a car later today to take you back to Mullingar." As soon as those words left his mouth, the boys all looked up. "No! Paul you can't!"
"Paul! She's my cousin!"
"You can't do this!"
"She needs to be here!"
I stepped closer to Paul and looked at the five boys that stood in front of me. "Before you five came along, I was getting along fine. I didn't even think about anything that happened as bad until Harry came in and made a big fuss. Dan said he would control his anger and he wouldn't do anything anymore. You guys go on your tour and I'll keep in touch."
Liam, Louis and Zayn nodded, leaving the room with Paul as they quietly said their goodbyes, leaving Harry and Niall in the room with me. Harry stayed towards the back as Niall stepped forward. "I know that I have been the worst cousin in the history of bad cousins, but that's over now. If he does anything or if you need anything just call me okay?" He hugged me tightly, his blue eyes watering as he did so. I wrapped my arms around him and hugged back, laying my head on his shoulder. "I will, I promise." Niall let go and looked back at Harry like he was going to say something, but he just shook his head and walked out. "I hate you." Harry breathed out as he walked over to me, standing so close that our bodies were almost touching. "I hate me too." My eyes studied Harry's face, seeing his clenched jaw, angry eyes and even the veins on his neck. He wasn't happy but I knew that he wouldn't hurt me. "Why- why the hell did you do that? He was going to let you stay! Now... Now you have to go back to that monster." His green eyes glistened with unshed tears, as did mine. I didn't say anything I simply stepped that inch closer and hugged him tightly, the tears falling in silence. It took Harry a few seconds to relax and slowly wrap his arms around me, my heart breaking as he softly cried into my shoulder. We stayed like that for what felt like forever, but was only a few minutes until the door opened. "Your car is here Miss Horan." I sniffled, not wanting to let go of the guy that now meant the world to me, but I had to. I pulled back and turned around, not able to look at Harry any longer.
I noticed Paul look behind me at the curly haired boy with sympathy in his eyes, moving his hand to the small of my back to guide me off of the bus. I still had Harry's oversized white shirt on as well as some black shorts that he must've put on me when I fell asleep. "Here you go." Paul reached forward and opened the car door for me, allowing me to slide in before he closed the door again. I wound down the window slightly, looking at the five boys as they came out of the bus to wave goodbye. The car slowly started to move and I was about to turn my head away from the lads when Harry suddenly sprinted towards the car. "Sandy!" He called out, trying to catch up. I wound down my window and stuck my head out, praying to god that he would stop the car, but he wasn't fast enough and the both of us knew that. "Sandy I..." The roaring of the car engine made Harry's words inaudible, and by the time the engine had quieted down, he was nothing but a spot in the distance.
