Sandy Point Of View

"I'll meet you there in ten minutes." I hung up the phone and sat back on my bed, groaning loudly. I had arranged to meet Niall at a diner downtown that we used to go to as kids, and he had promised not to bring Harry. I stood up and walked out of my room, heading downstairs and into the kitchen to grab a quick drink. When I walked in my eyes widened slightly. Dan was sitting at the kitchen table with empty bottles scattered around him. Everything that had alcohol in it that was in this house was on the table now empty and in the middle of it was Dan with his head laid on the table, his blonde hair a tangled mess.
I tried to tip toe over to the water but his gruff, croaky voice cut me off. "Where are you going?!" His head shot up off of the table, his usual bright greeny blue eyes glazed over. "I-I was going to get some water before I go meet up with Niall-"
"Niall?! NIALL?! Will Harry be there?! Will you go fuck him while you're at it?!" I took a step back as Dan took one forward. "Dan I've got no idea what you're talking about-"
"I see it! I see the fucking adoration in your eyes! You think I'm so goddamn dumb Sandy, I know that you're going to meet up with that asshole of a cunt!"
"Don't call him that!" My voice was louder then I had expected. I had never had the guts to shout back before but it actually felt good. Dan looked a little taken aback and I thought for a few seconds that he would stop, but of course I was wrong.
Within a few seconds his large hands were wrapping around my neck, gripping so tightly that it was impossible to get air out let alone in. "You will NOT go see Harry."
His grip tightened as he pulled his arms back and slammed my head against the wall.
"You will NOT love him!"
Dan did it again, smashing my head as hard as he could on the wall behind me. I felt like a rag doll, a rag doll that couldn't scream for help or breath for that matter.
"You WILL love me! ONLY ME!" He did it again and that's when I heard a sickening crack. I couldn't tell whether it was the crack of bone of the crack of the wall breaking, but I knew that it hurt like hell. I clawed weakly at his hands, gasping and practically begging for the slightest bit of air to come in, but instead, Dan tightened his grip and pulled me closer. "And if you don't love me. You sure as hell won't love anyone else." His whisper sent shivers down my spine as he smashed my head one last time against the wall. This time he let go of my neck too, by it was too late. My eyesight was fading and I couldn't find the strength in me to breath anymore.
The last thing I heard Dan say was, "I'm going to the pub. Clean this up." He thought I was going to wake up. He thought that this was just like the other times, that I would wake up and clean after him. But this time, he thought wrong.

Niall Point Of View

I bit my lip and looked down at my watch again, nervously tapping my foot under the table. "Niall she's only ten minutes late. Maybe times got mixed up, or traffic you never know." I nodded towards Liam but his words went in one ear and out the other. One thing I knew about my cousin is that she was almost always on time and if she was running even a minute late she would call. "Maybe she just didn't want to come. We technically did break our promise." All our eyes moved to the window next to our booth where we had the perfect view of Harry sitting in the black car. Kendall had gone home, angry at the fact that Harry cared more about Sandy then herself. "We can't sit in here forever, Harry will get bored and so will I." Louis whined as he played with the straw of his milkshake. I ignored him and looked back down at my watch. "What if Dan-"
"Niall give the guy a break, the abuse case could've just been a big misunderstanding. I mean he doesn't seem that bad and he makes good tea." I wanted to argue so badly, tell them what Dan had said about Sandy taking hits better then me, but I knew that they would only hear the parts they wanted to hear and laugh their bloody heads off.
"Niall. Paul just texted. We have to get back on the road or we'll miss our concert in London. It's one of our biggest concerts. We'll call Sandy later." The three other boys stood up and looked down at me expectantly. I quickly averted my eyes to the watch seeing she was now twenty minutes late. "I..." I huffed and stood up, slipping my hands into my pockets. "Alright let's go. Just let me pay the bill first."
