First, I draw a line art. I try not to sketch, cuz whenever i do, it turns out hella messy. I strongly recommend to just use one layer for this. If you're the type to sketch, but am still able to keep a hellauva neat lines, good job. You're better than me at it.

Oh gawd, I stuffed up. Anyways, next, you use the fill tool, that looks like a paint bucket, and fill in all the parts of clothing, hair, etc. That would be your base colour. I stuffed up, cuz i saved it at the wrong time, so sorry, but i can't show you the base. Also make sure to close off all the 'holes' or 'gaps' that you might have not closed. You'll know when one isn't closed, cuz you'll see the colour leaking out to the page. When you've finish filling, do your toning and lighting. I, personally, am not very good at that. And this, is the picture above.

Add whatever else you want. I did the ribbon. Don't rub out the coloured parts. Just add another layer above it. Use many many layers for all the stuff you do. Whether it's shading or colouring. Don't use it for the very very base sketch though. For me, I added the ring and ribbon. I lined it first as the very first layer on top. Then, I added another layer below it. That's my colouring layer. You can choose to add another layer for toning and shading. But since i'm lazy and i'm about to go to the airport, i didn't do it, and just used the same layer.

Background. I add a layer a the very very bottom, cuz it's easier to colour over without having to worry about getting on top of the other pieces like the dress and whatnot. Next, I used a flower stamp to do the patters, cuz as i said before, i'm running out of time and i'm lazy af. This would be the final step if you are just making a painting. Well, you can put a signature, i guess.

Andddddddd, FINISHEDDDDDD!!!!!!! I STRONGLY STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU DO THE TEXT LAST. Use a layer for it and put it at the very very top, of ALL THE OTHER FELLOW LAYERS.
P.S, I hoped this tutorial helped you. ^^ DON'T STEAL THOUGH, KAY? I'M EYEBALLING YOU.
