I couldn't believe it when Dylan asked me out for this date. I smiled all the way home and then text Megan as soon as I got back, as promised, telling her what happened.

He asked me out after school tomorrow - Al x

Not only a minute later I had a reply.

OMG no way, really!? That's fantastic. You'll have to tell me all about it tomorrow! Well chuffed for you babe - Meg xx

I was pleased that I could tell Megan about this evenings happenings, it was nice that I could call her a friend already. I still didn't like the idea of telling Harry about Dylan yet, but I also couldn't find out the reason behind not wanting to tell him either.

Quickly eating tea with mum and Daniel we chatted about how our first day at school went, I also missed out about telling them about Dylan. I'm close to my mum but I just wanted to see how tomorrow went before she got all excited over him.

After tea I showered taking my time, re-shaving my legs again making sure they were smooth for tomorrow. I let my hair naturally dry whilst I picked out an outfit for what I could wear. I've never made such effort for anyone before let alone a boy but I really wanted to impress him. I searched through all my shorts and t-shirts, matching them together deciding on what looks best. After about half an hour of clothes flying around my new room and being sorted into new piles, matching and matching them all together I finally settled on a pair of ripped denim shorts and a plain white vest top with a black bando underneath.

Settling down into bed I decided to give Harry a text letting him know how school went. It was weird for him not to already have text me but he'd probably been busy with school work, or Niall, he said he was going to be spending more time with him.

School went surprisingly well, I met up with a new friend after school and I didn't suck with the whole social thing. It wasn't the same without you though, miss you - Al xx

Picking my book up of from my bed side table I dived nose first into it starting from where I left off last time. After reading 3 chapters Harry still hadn't replied, reminding myself about the different time zones I gave up on a reply I put by book back away and laid down.

The events from today ran through my mind. Starting school, making some friends, meeting up with Meg, surfing with Dylan.

Dylan.

And the date.

Another smile crept across my face as I thought about him, his eyes and that dimple. Just the one on the right cheek. I was nervous about tomorrow. Hell, I get nervous just looking at him let alone actually going on a date. But it was happening and I was pleased. Very, very nervous but so, so pleased.

I had know idea what to think about tomorrow, about where we would go or what we would talk about, but none the less I was still ecstatic. I wanted to get to know Dylan better, and it shocked me that he asked me out after not knowing him for very long, but I tried to look at this in a most positive was as possible, something very challenging for me.

Still thinking about Dylan I drifted off into a cozy sleep. He's even in my head when I sleep now to.

... ... ... ...

School, wasn't as nerve racking today as it had been yesterday. The lessons here were more laid back then they had been in England and I was pleased for that as my growing nerves about this evenings date was starting to discomfort me more and more.

I explained everything to Megan about what happened when Dylan asked me out and she looked more excited then a puppy being told it was going for walkies. She couldn't express enough how much of a good sign this was that he liked me.

Something that secretly really pleased me. I spent lunch and break with Meg and her friends again. I spoke to Sophie a lot about school and England and I liked her a lot too, it was just my luck that she lived on the road next to mine and she was more then happy to walk to and from school with me, which I did this evening.

I think Sophie is great and I really look up to her. She's one of these people who doesn't care what people think of her, she doesn't change herself to please other people. I'm similar to her but also so different. It's true I don't care to much what people think of me, but that's because I never made an effort, until I mover here. She on the other hand was flamboyant and outgoing and didn't let people looking at her effect how she expressed herself. She was funny and seemed like always the optimist to. What I love most about her though is her flaming red hair, that sat messily on her shoulders. It looked like it hadn't had a brush through it in weeks and was any hair dressers nightmare, but she managed to pull it off, making it look stylish and not like she'd been dragged through a hedge backwards, much like I would look like if it was me supporting the style.

Before I knew it me and Sophie were already spitting up for us to walk the remainder of the way home by ourselves and now my nerves had gotten the better of me without someone having a conversation to distract me a little from my niggling insides.

I rushed the rest of the way home and straight up the two flights of stairs into my room. I had no idea what time Dylan was actually picking me up so I quickly changed into the outfit I picked out yesterday. As I was just about to touch up on my make up I heard my phone buzz on my bed.

Dylan asked for your number so he would let you know what time he was picking you up, hope that's ok - Meg xx

No, that's cool. Thank you :) - Al x

I was glad that Meg gave my number to Dylan, at least now I will know what time to expect him. Almost instantly after I had just replied to Meg I got another text come through.

Hey, I got your number off Megan, I hope you don't mind? I'll be around to pick you up at in about 15 minutes, that's if you still want to come? - Dyl xx

What!? Of course I still want to go, this is all I've been thinking about since yesterday when he asked. Quickly my thumbs flew over my phone.

Hiya, that's cool. Of course I still want to come :D - Al xx

Awesome, see you soon - Dyl xx

Ok, so Dylan is coming around if 15 minted and I still wasn't ready.

Starting to panic I ran to my mirror looking at my flustered face. Picking up my make up bag I quickly topped my make up, applying another coat of mascara to my lashes and more concealer around my cheeks, something I had never done before. I guess that would have to do, Dylan was meant to be here in 5 minutes now.

Grabbing my handbag from under my bed I shoved my purse and a hoddie in there as I still wasn't to sure what Dylan had planned. As I made my way downstairs there was a knock at the door. I already new it was him.

Swallowing my built up nerves down, I opened the door.

"Hey." I smiled at him before taking in his appearance, nearly taking my breath away.
