I walked into my job, already wishing for the day to end. I looked around with the fakest smile plastered on my face already knowing that today is going to be a long day.
"Well damn Syd," Amira said while staring at me, "you look like you got no sleep are you okay?"
I looked at her and shook my head because I didn't get no sleep and to be completely honest a bitch is tired for real. I looked down at my scrubs and blew out a big breath.
"I was up for my mid-terms," I said as I sat down at my desk and clocked in to work.
"Bihhhh I would've called in because you look like who did it and why."
I snapped my neck towards her and sucked my teeth. "Thank you Mir for the obvious."
She was suddenly starting to piss me off and she didn't even know it. Last night was one of the roughest nights of my life, having to stay up and study for my mid-terms. Biology is easy but it was really a lot to study, not having a study group and studying all by yourself is hard. I only had a three-hour nap before going to take my test and I just hope that I passed with an A. Stopping mid thought I heard my desk phone ring, I picked it up and put on a fake smile.
"Thank you for calling Women and Children Clinic, how may I help you today?" I slid my keyboard in front of me so that I can type down the information.
"I was wondering what time do you guys close today?"
"We Close at 7 today, but we do stop taking walk-ins at 2:30," I said looking at the clock and noticing that it was 3:45.
"Okay, well can I make an appointment for my daughter for tomorrow?"
I shook my head as I look through the appointments and seen that we were booked until next Tuesday." Um Ma'am, I think that it is best if you guys come in early in the morning at 8 that's when we start walk-ins," I scrolled through it once more, "because there are no openings until next Tuesday."
"Okay, Thank you so much!"
"No problem, have a nice day." I hung up the phone and see Mir looking at me with the biggest smile. I didn't know what this heifer was up to but I really don't have time for it.
"I'm not even with whatever you doing Mir, so keep me out of it." I shot her down because it's not happening tonight. I looked over and seen Dr. Allen smiling at me. I felt my face getting hotter and my palms sweat, that man was fine but he was older than me. I jumped when I felt a hot breath breathe down my neck.
"You look even more beautiful on your worse day baby girl," He kissed my neck and squeezed my shoulders.
I couldn't do nothing but laugh a little because this man has a crush on me but he has a wife and a daughter.
"Don't you have a wife and five-year-old child, "I shook my shoulders to brush his hands off of me. I looked up and he had a frown on his face sticking his hands in his pockets.
"Have a nice day Smith, "he simply walked away to handle another patient.
I am personally in like with that man and the thoughts that run through my head is something serious. I licked my lips and looked at the time.... 6:45. I was very delighted that the day was almost over so I could just get in my bed. "So you just gonna act like that didn't happen!" Mir screamed in my ear smiling extra hard.
I couldn't do anything but laugh because she is something serious I don't understand my friend .
"Shut Up," I rolled my eyes and pulled out my phone ," it wasn't all that serious."

I would never understand why a man wouldn't want they woman to work instead of sitting on they ass all day. I don't like to be on my ass all day I actually like to go to school and work , I don't like being cramped in my house everyday it's not okay to me .
