I talked to the girls and asked if I was mean towards Keith. After a long conversation they said I was, I just don't want him in my business. I ended up getting in contact with him and we were meeting for lunch. Of course I was late to see if he really was going to be on time.
"Hey, I'm meeting a party under Powers," I said to the lady.
"Okay follow me," she lead me to Keith.
"Thank you, " I smiled an sat down in front of him.
"Hey Keith,"
"Wassup baby girl," he said smiling at me.
I looked through the menu to see what I wanted knowing I might get the same thing I always do. Once I knew exactly what I wanted I let the waitress know.
"So you going to tell me why you just stop fucking with me?" he asked.
"Because the day you got mad at me for being around Dr.Allen you were around some bitch but you got mad at me.........Thenn I felt like I got taken advantage of at the gala by Landon but you didn't want to answer." I said shrugging. " After that I just wanted to be myself because I needed to re learn myself again."
"That's stupid Syd,"
"Exactly what do you mean by that?"
"That you just stop talking to me because of that," he said rubbing his face. " How you know what I was doing? How do you know?"
"What I need for you to understand is that you need to listen to why I'm hurt.....you don't decide when you want to feel like it's okay to hurt me. You can't decide when you can forgive and when you can forget and throw over your shoulders. You need to listen and understand why it hurt me," I looked at him.
"But it can't make me apologize if I don't feel sorry for it Sydnee," he rubbed his face and blew out breath.
"Alright then what we talking for?" I was confused like hell.
"To understand each other,"
"But you not trying to understand me tho," I was getting aggravated because he contradicting himself like I don't know what.
"Here's you guys go," she sat the food down and smiled, " let me know if you guys need anything else."
Once she walked off I started eating and kept quiet. I came in with an open mind now I wish I didn't come at all. I feel like he doesn't care even though it's been two years he just so nonchalant about it.
"Do you like it?" he asked trying to start conversation. I nodded but continued to eat.
This nigga had the audacity to try and reach on my plate like we cool like that. I slapped his hand away while I shot him a glare.
"Don't be putting your hands on my plate like you my nigga."
"Damn that's wrong Syd."
I shrugged and replied to a text on my phone. I remain silent for the rest of the night because I still feel some type of way. I didn't want to make conversation but I tried.
"Do you like teaching ??" He asked still trying.
"Yea it was good pass time," I simply said.
"Keith we can stop trying to make conversation and get cool with each other. I feel some type of way from your actions soon as we started talking. You only tried to make conversation and keep it going because you seen my demeanor change."
I threw $30 down on the table and walked off. I was over the conversation I walked to my car and drove to Alex house.
At least I tried.......
