-Third Person POV-

The air in the building was still. Everyone was gawking at the sight in front of them. They could not believe their eyes. Maybe, just maybe, their eyes were deceiving them? No, that can't be, everyone was looking at the same thing at the same time. Everyone knew the skinny immortal boy. But now, he's standing in front of them with cat ears and tail?!

Inoue cleared his throat. "Care to explain what happened?"

Hanasaki and Kobayashi exchanged glance and shifted their foot nervously. "We....can't really explain..." Hanasaki muttered.

Noro hovered above them analysing the strange incident. "Do you remember what you did before those ears popped out?"

The white haired male sighed and softly mumbled. "I told Kamisama that I'll do whatever it takes to get rid of my power...." Inoue looked skeptical. He straighten his shoulder and asked again. "So..,did it work?"

"No...." Hanasaki and Kobayashi replied in unison. Inoue turned his head and faced Akechi. "So..what now sensei?"

"Hmm....Hanasaki is this the reason why Kobayashi can't come to the club?" The scruffy looking male asked, sitting casually at his desk. Hanasaki nodded and bowed down apologetically." I'm really sorry! I just...can't afford to leak out this secret..."

Akechi nodded and stood up. He walked closer and took a good look at Kobayashi. "Any side effects?" He asked.

"Overwhelming urge to drink milk and eat fish....and I started to get really jumpy whenever I saw something moving around..." Kobayashi answered, remembering what happened yesterday and the day before. "Oh...and, somehow, my body is more agile...and more stretchy." He added quickly.

"Hmm...I see...now that is troublesome...." Akechi mumbled. Then, he turned sharply towards Hanasaki. "Hanasaki!" He called out.

"Y..yes?!"

"How long has it been like this?" The older male asked. " Four....or five days ago..." Hanasaki replied, glancing at Kobayashi. Noro seems to have taken a liking towards neko Kobayashi, and that sight is killing Hanasaki.

Akechi walked towards Hanasaki and placed his hands on Hanasaki's shoulder. "Hanasaki, I'll leave this up to you. For now, you're excuse from all the hard missions. And, Kobayashi!" Akechi turned his head towards the white haired male. "You, don't go out in public at any cost! You are ordered to stay with Hanasaki until we find a way to cure you, or you cure yourself." He told Kobayashi.

"But, Sensei! Isn't this too risky?!" Inoue protested with Noro backing him up. "Inoue-kun is right on this! We can't just leave Kobayashi to that adrenaline junky over there!" She chimed in.

"In this agency, my words are rule, and I'm leaving this to Hanasaki."

"But!" Inoue and Noro cried out in unison.

"No buts! Hanasaki will take good care of Kobayashi. Both of you, help me with the newest case!" Akechi instructed sternly. Without any more chance to protest, Inoue and Noro nodded and resumed their job.

-Outside of the building-

"This is so bad.... so bad I can't even think about doing any mission.." The brown-ish male sighed. He wasn't like his usual active self.

"I'm the one who's like this,but you're the one freaking out for no reason..." Kobayashi sneered and gripped his hoodie tightly.

The summer sun shone brightly on them. The heat was unbearable but Kobayashi thought differ. He would rather bundle himself up with clothes so no one could see how freaky he look. He wondered if the government would capture him and forced him into all the painful experiments if they saw him like this. He shuddered to the horrific thought but shrugged it off quickly.
