I was woken by someone insistently poking my arm.

"Go away, Tyler." I groaned, trying to roll over but only succeeding in falling to the floor. The impact woke me up and I looked up to see Joe grinning down at me, on the verge of laughter.

"One, I'm not Tyler, and two, Zoe's on her way to pick you up." He told me and I rolled my eyes.

"Sorry. I'll get up." I scrambled up off the floor and made my way to the bathroom, hearing Joe turn on the coffee machine.

"Zoe'll be here in ten. I hate to rush you out after the day you had but I've got work in half an hour." Joe announced when I emerged, holding out a mug of coffee.

"It's fine. You've done enough for me today anyway." I replied, accepting the coffee and taking a sip. "This is good. You should be a barista."

"No way. Dealing with customers who pick on every little thing I do? Not a chance."

"Where do you work, by the way?" I actually had no idea where he worked.

"Um, I work as kind of like a secretary-slash-errand boy for this big production company. They make a lot of the ads you see on TV."

"Cool. Do you, like, help out with the filming and stuff?" I was genuinely interested in what he spent his time doing. I knew from stories Zoe had told me that he didn't go to college.

"Kind of. Not the actual filming because they've got professional photographers and stuff for that but I help out moving the sets around and stuff like that."

"That actually sounds really awesome. And it's where you met Caspar, right?"

"No. Cas and I went to high school together but we weren't friends then. More like mortal enemies.

"Mortal enemies?" I laughed and he nodded.

"Yeah. We were both in completely different social groups that did not get along at all so even though we barely knew each other, we hated each other."

"Right. Sounds like typical high school drama."

"It was. After high school, I didn't see Cas for probably around a year until I bumped into him at work. He was doing work as an extra and recognised me when I was helping out on set." I was about to say more when there was a knock at the door. Joe put down his coffee mug and went to answer it, coming back seconds later with Zoe in tow.

"Hey Zoe." I grinned at her, finishing off my coffee before going to hug her.

"Morning. I see you survived the night with my idiot brother."

"Well, he made me fall off the sofa bed this morning but other than that, yeah, I survived."

"Good. We have to get going, though because we only have an hour." I frowned.

"An hour? For what?"

"To get to your apartment and get some of your stuff."

"What?" Zoe shook her head and grabbed my arm, leading me out the door. I waved at Joe who looked just as confused as I felt. "Why can't I just go home?"

"I'll explain in the car." Was all she replied, quickening her pace to that I had to almost run to keep up with her.

"Okay, will you tell me now, why can't I go home?" I begged when we were both in the car and she was turning into the street.

"I talked to Tyler last night. He doesn't want to see you or hear from you yet but I made a deal with him, and before you ask, yes,I talked to Troye about this."
