~~~~Cry's POV~~~~
It has been about three hours since Felix passed out and his health has already noticeably gotten worse. He has thrown up everything in his stomach and can't keep anything down. I've tried giving him some water but it comes with the same results. He just pukes it up and start groaning in pain. I felt his forehead and it was unnaturally hot. "Guys. He is burning up a little too much." I shouted. Ken came in followed by the others. Ken felt Felix's forehead as well. He grimaced and turned to us. "Minx run a bath of cold water. Turn it all the way down. Red can you go get some ice out of the freezer?" Red nodded and rushed down to the kitchen. After a few minutes Minx came back saying the bath was ready. Ken nodded and took off Felix's shirt and pants leaving him in only his boxers. I heard Russ' breath hitch at the sight before us. Felix's weight had dropped tremendously in the last few hours. Ken picked him up bridal style and didn't have any trouble doing it. Felix opened his eyes slightly to look at Ken questionably. "Wha..? What are y.... you doing?" Felix asked weakly. Ken just looked at Felix sadly and carried him to the bathroom. "This is gonna be cold so just bare with me and don't fight me." Ken said slowly lowering Felix's body into the freezing water. Felix hissed and squirmed but being as weak as he was he couldn't get away. Ken let go of Felix and he lay in the water miserably. Ken took a rag and rolled some ice up in it and dabbed it against Felix's forehead. Felix looked up at us sadly then passed out again for the millionth time. Ken dropped the rag and dried his hands off. Then he dug around in his pants pocket. He then pulled out Dr. Conners' card. "Nononononono Ken! Dude you can't call him!" Scott said terrified. "HE IS GONNA DIE IF WE DONT!" Ken said raising his voice. Everyone shuddered at Ken's outburst. "Felix is suffering. That mad man says he has two week but at this rate his organs will start shutting down and he is gonna die from starvation because he can't keep any food down." Ken said dialing the number on the card. He pressed call and then left the room to speak to the 'doctor'. Me and Scott get Felix out of the water and dry him. We lay him on the bed in the same room. Minx holds Felix's hand tightly while we sit around and nervously wait for the scientist to come and get Felix back. Ken comes back with the look of shame written all over his face. We may have only known Felix for a day but we already loved him. He was a part of the crew no matter how different he was. "They will be here in twenty minutes..." Ken said. We just sat around waiting, when Felix suddenly came to. "I don't.. blame you f-for ca-calling... Ill get o-out again and come back..." Felix said looking at us with half lidded eyes. We all loved on each other and the dreadful sound of cars pulling into Ken's yard was heard. We all walked down to the front door to let the dreadful scientists in. Dr. Conners smiled at us smugly as three scientists rolled a gurney in and then carried it to the room Ken pointed out. "You made the right choice Mr. Morrison. Trust me Felix is in good hands... And so will you." Dr. Conners said smiling evilly. My head shot up at that. Suddenly these big buff men come barging in and started putting us all in handcuffs. "No... NO DONT TAKE THEM!!!" I hear Felix start yelling and thrashing around. The medical people try restraining him but eventually hand to sedate him. "Whats the meaning of this!?" Ken screams looking at Dr. Conners furious. "You honestly think I'd let you and your friends off the hook? That would be stupid considering you have seen my life's work and biggest secret! That's why you are all coming as well." The mad man explained. We all fought and struggled as the men pushed us into the second van. Ken bit one of the men's hands and they smacked him in the back of the head, knocking him out. They carelessly threw him into the back of the van and closed the doors.
~~~~Felix's POV~~~~
I woke up to the sound of beeping and quiet whispers. I groan and opened my eyes to be welcomed by bright white lights. I felt perfectly fine now. No doubt that Dr. Conners has already cured me of his crazy death virus. "Felix?" I hear a soft female voice say. I try sitting up but see my wrists are bound to the bed I lay on. "Felix! You're awake!" I hear someone yell. I look to my left to see all my friends locked in a cell across from me. I grit my teeth and use as much strength as I had to break my wrists free. I managed that and then ripped all the wires off my body. I stood up to see I was once again in a ugly hospital gown. "Are you guys okay?!" I ask worriedly. They all nod at me. "Felix what do we do?!" Minx asked frantically. "Don't worry I'll get us out of this!" Suddenly a door opens and closes and I hear clapping. "Felix Felix Felix. Do you honestly think you are gonna get them all out of here alive?!" Dr. Conners asked me laughing. I grab the cell bars and start shaking them and reaching through to Dr. Conners. I wanted to rip his head off for bringing my friends into this. "Now Felix your body is too weak for me to experiment on. So I need a new subject! Ah! And who better but Mr. Terry!" Cry backs up to the back of the cell along with the others crowding around him to protect him. "Don't you touch them! Take me! My body will handle it!" I yell banging my fists on the bars. Dr. Conners just laughs and motions for two armed men to drag Cry out of the cell. They enter the cell and fight against my friends for awhile until finally dragging Cry out by his shirt collar. "NO! NO DONT HURT HIM!" I screech. I fought against the bars until finally busting down the cell door. I charge for Cry and yank him away from the armed men. I turn my back to them and envelope Cry with my wings and shield his body as bullets were shot at me. I grit my teeth as the pain of being shot in the back runs through my body. "Get back in the cell!" I hiss at Cry and push him towards the door. He runs in and my friends all crowd together again. I fight against the guards I guess you could call them for a long time. Suddenly I feel a sharp pinch in my neck. I shrink back and grab at my neck where a syringe was sticking out. I stumble back as I yank it out. It was a damn sedative... I black out again....
~~~Russ' POV~~~
Felix passed out after that deranged doctor sedated him. The guards them strapped him back down to his bed and fixed the door. Once they got him locked back up they came to our cell again. "Grab the one they call Cry! And don't pull no more shit!" Dr. Conners yelled furiously. "Get away!" I yelled kicking a guard in the nuts. But to my surprise he didn't flinch or even show any pain. I then got pushed back and the other guard dragged Cry out of the room by his legs. We tried getting him back but it didn't work. His screams got softer and softer as they pulled him done the hallways. "FELIX WAKE UP!" Minx screamed banging her fists against the bars. Felix didn't move which made her have a fit and Scott and Ken had to hold her down and make her come to her senses. "Cry..." Minx muttered crying. I saw the syringe the doctor had stabbed Felix with laying on the floor just in my reach. He grabbed it and started to try and pick the lock on the cell door. "Russ what are you doing?" Red asked me putting a hand on my shoulder. "Seeing if I can get us out b-" I started to say until the needle to the syringe broke. I sighed angrily and moved away from the door and plopped down on the floor with Red cuddled against me. "CRY!" Felix yelled jolting awake and fighting against the restraints again. "They got him...." Minx muttered. Felix looked at us shocked. Minx stood looking at Felix. "None of this would have happened if you would have just stayed out in the field and just die from freezing to death!" Minx yelled angrily at Felix. Ken put a hand on Minx's shoulder but she shrugged him off. "No Ken I'm right! If he hadn't have come in contact with us we wouldn't be stuck in a jail cell waiting to be experimented on and Cry wouldn't be potentially murdered right now!" Minx yelled but I could see in her eyes that she wasn't meaning what she said... What is she up to..? Suddenly Felix's eyes turn red again and growls angrily. He starts jerking around on his bed and then breaks the bolts that held it to the floor. Holy shit that skinny dude can manage that! Felix yanked his wrists free once again and kicked the jail cell door down. His nails grew to points and his teeth got a tiny bit sharper. He grabbed our cell door and broke it off it's hinges. "GO! NOW! ILL GET CRY!" Felix said in a very scary and deep voice. We all went running as Felix walked with his fists clenched out the door in search of Cry. "Minx dude look what you did!" Scott said shocked. "I knew if he got mad enough he would go on a rampage." Minx replied with a smirk. We then ran in search of the exit.
~~~Cry's POV~~~
I kicked and struggled as two men tried to lay me on a examination table. They finally slammed me on it and I kept struggling and flopping around trying to get away but they strapped my wrists and ankles down tight. Dr. Conners came in then pushing some medical equipment. I fought against the restraints more but sadly they were very sturdy metal. "Yes keep fighting and tire yourself out. It makes all the easier." Dr. Conners said smiling evilly. I stopped fighting and just watched him as he stuck electrodes to my arms and chest. Then a woman came in rolling a little cart with scary tools on it as well as.... a syringe filled with some lime green substance. My eyes widen in fear and I start fighting again. Dr. Conners grinned at me insanely and picked up the syringe admiring it. "You know Ryan. This is the exact substance that turned Felix into what he is, but yet he was a failure that I just used to test things on. But I have confidence that you will turn out great!" Dr. Conners said grinning at me again. I swallowed hard and I watched as the nurse swabbed my arm where the needle would go in. My heart raced as I fought against the restrains. Dr. Conners put on latex gloves teasingly slow and flicked the syringe. "Now there will be a sharp pinch..." Dr. Conners said bringing the needle to my arm. "NO! PLEASE! FELIX!" I screamed as tears fell down my face. Suddenly as if granting my wish Felix burst in the door and let a animal like roar. Dr. Conners snapped his head up and handed the shot to the woman. "Do it Sarah! I'll hold Felix off!" he said grabbing a knife off his work cart before running towards Felix. Felix just slapped him aside with one of his wings. Dr. Conners slammed into the wall. "DO IT NOW QUICKLY!" Dr. Conners yelled. Suddenly the woman, Sarah, shoved the needle in my arm and injected all the liquid into my arm. The stuff burned like I was on fire as it rushed through my body. I yelled and fought wanting to just scratch my skin off at how bad it hurt. Felix then came and tore the woman's head off. Dousing us both in blood. He ripped all the electrodes of me and pulled me free of the restraints. "FELIX IT HURTS!" I screeched curling into a fetal position. "I know Cry just bare with it..." Felix said sadly in my ear. He then picked me up bridal style and clutched me to his chest. He then took off running through the halls. Tucking his wings in from all the destruction. What had happened here? Did Felix do all this?! There were small fires everywhere and some walls had holes in them... Man sized holes. I clutched my chest with my right hand as my chest started hurting where my heart should be. It became hard to breathe and I wheezed every time I took in oxygen. Felix looked at me sadly then focused on the task at hand.
