~~~Ken's POV~~~
We kept running and running but never finding the exit to this God forsaken place. We heard many people screaming and animal like roars every once and awhile. That's what made us keep running. Felix was making those noises and we were terrified that he would run into us while we were trying to escape. I knew he was blinded by his rage. And as if on cue Felix came running towards us with a body in his arms. It was Cry!! "Hurry go to your left straight down this way and take the next two rights. The exit will be straight down the last hallway!" Felix told us. We obeyed his commands. Felix took the rear of the group to keep anybody following us from getting too close. We took the next two rights and there it was! The exit!! We burst through the door screaming in excitement from being out of that place of insanity. "Here! Take Cry!" Felix said giving Cry to me. He squirmed and screamed out in pain. "What's wrong with him?" I asked trying to keep my hold on him. "He was inje-" Felix started to say but abruptly stopped. I looked up at him confused. His mouth hung open in shock. "Felix?" Minx said. We heard insane laughter. There at the door way of the exit stood Dr. Conners with a gun. My eyes shot back to Felix. He looked down at his stomach. Placing his hands where I saw blood blooming across his clothing. He drew his hands back to look at them. Shock once again showed on his face. He looked back up at us and then it's like his body finally caught up with time. Felix spit up blood and fell to his knees. Russ caught him before he fully hit the ground. Felix's breathing became rapid and shallow. Russ lay Felix on his back and placed Felix's head in his lap. "Stay with us man!" Russ said trying to keep Felix's attention. We heard the insane laughter start up again and we all glared at Dr. Conners. He looked more insane with the building engulfed in flames behind him. "FELIX! YOU WERE ALWAYS A FAILURE TO ME! YOU WILL BE GOING DOWN WITH ME AS WELL AS RYAN!! MY LIFE'S WORK WILL NOT BE GETTING OUT SO SOMEONE ELSE CAN TAKE THE CREDIT FOR IT!" "YOU'RE INSANE!!!" I yelled still holding onto Cry's quivering body. "NOW ALL OF YOU DIE!!" the mad man yelled pointing his gun at us. Everything went into slow motion. Felix suddenly jumped up and glided quickly towards Dr. Conners. Taking the hit from any bullets and snapping Dr. Conners' neck. He kicked the body into the burning building and then was blown back by the force of the building blowing up. Russ and Scott ran forward to catch Felix before he his body could hit the ground. They all fell back from the force of Felix's body hitting them. Everything was going to shit quickly. Because after all that Cry started screaming bloody murder. He started scratching at his back which frightened me. I took his shirt off to see bulges coming out of his shoulder blades. "Lay... him on his side..." I heard a very weak Felix say. Russ, Scott, and Red tried tending to Felix while me and Minx took care of Ryan. I did as Felix said and lay Cry on his right side. Me and Minx had to hold him there while he threw a fit. He tried even scratching us! Then suddenly Cry's skin ripped open on the back of his shoulders and black wings burst out. Cry's body then relaxed. He lay still and gave a sigh of relief. Is this what Felix was trying to say they did to Cry?! Turn him into what he is?! "Come on Felix stay with us!" I heard Russ mutter. I look to see Russ doing CPR to try and restart his heart and keep the blood flowing around his body. I picked up Cry's unconscious body and ran over to Felix with Minx making sure I didn't crush Cry's new wings. We I got over to Felix I could see burned patches on his arms and legs where fire licked his body after the explosion. He had cuts and bruises everywhere. His wings had lost some feathers as well I think his left one was broken badly. Russ sat back in relief for a moment when Felix's eyes slightly opened. "Guys..." he said quietly. "Shhh Felix don't talk you need to save your energy." Russ said brushing the hair from Felix's forehead. "Heh... don't worry about me... I'm about to die anyways.." Felix said smiling weakly. Coughs then took over him. Sending more blood rolling down his chin. "Easy Pewds easy..." Scott suddenly said. "P.. Pewds?" Felix asked confused. "Yeah.. it's your nickname bro." Scott said smiling though I could see tears brimming his eyes. Felix smiled weakly and closed his eyes for a moment. "That was my nickname back home...." He said his voice just above a whisper. He opened his eyes again and a pained expression contorted his face. "Guys... I don't have much time left... But I need you to listen... Cry is still in danger. There is another facility somewhere in the c-country. It has been alerted of what happened here... You guys need to stick together and protect each other.. They are gonna come after you." Felix explained groaning from sudden pain. He had another coughing fit that was worse than the first. "Easy bro easy..." Russ said holding Felix's hand. He looked up at us one more time. His eyes were already dull. He smiled at something we couldn't see and chuckled weakly. "I'm going home..." he said then took one last breath.. Tears fell down my face as well as the others. Surprisingly during that whole ordeal Cry managed to get to his feet and stand on his own. Russ ran his fingers over Felix's eyelids to close them so he could sleep comfortably for the rest of eternity. We took Felix's body back to my home and wrapped it in old extra sheets. Me and the boys dug a hole under the old willow tree behind my house. Red and Minx had set to work making a cross as a little monument but not something that my parents would really notice and question. The pain was just.. to real... There was just so much that time couldn't erase. We finally brought out Felix's body and gently lowered it into the hole. "Ken. Do you want to be our person to lead in prayer and say a few words?" Scott asked looking at me. I nodded and stepped forward. I sighed and rubbed my face before speaking. "We may have only known Felix for a day and a half, but in the time that we spent with him... It was like we had known him forever. He quickly became our brother and friend. He was a part of our family *wipes away tears and takes shaky breath*. He was a really good person that got pulled into a bad situation. All he had known most of his life was pain... He never got to spend the rest of his life celebrating Christmases or birthdays with his family. And I ask that You watch over him. Guide his soul to it's resting place where he will no longer have to feel pain and sadness..." I said a quick prayer and we set some flowers on Felix's body before burying it. It began to rain like the sky was crying for him. The cows, pigs, and chickens were quiet on the farm. There was no noise anywhere. We stood and said a few more goodbyes before retreating back into the house to get away from the rain. Yet Cry didn't move. I was about to say something when Minx stopped me by putting a hand on my shoulder. I looked at her and she shook her head with tears still falling down her cheeks.I left Cry alone and went into the house. When Cry didn't come in after an hour I looked through the window above the kitchen sink to check on him. He still stood at the foot of the grave staring at it. We were worried for him because before our little 'ceremony' he put on his mask. "Leave him be Ken. Give him his space." Scott said from the living room where we were trying to resume our little fun fest and celebrate Felix's life. I nodded and went back to the living room.
~~~Cry's POV~~~
I'm not sure how long I've been standing at Felix's grave but I could tell that it was a long time as the sky was starting to just barely get darker. I wore my mask to hide my emotions, but I knew it was dumb because everyone else was feeling the same way but that's just me. I mostly didn't want them to see me crying. I decide to take my mask off while I was talking. I pushed the mask on the top of my head and cleared my throat. "Felix I..." I had to swallow the lump in my throat before continuing. "I wanna say thank you for saving me... I may be just like you were but you gave your life for us.. I'm thankful for it. Very much... You were a great friend.. Pewds. Heh, it's funny how Scott gave you a nickname you already had. But I will avenge your death. Your voice will not go unheard. I will learn to fight, fly, and everything to protect my friends, family, and everyone else from those menaces. I promise you that." I said glaring through the tears. I wiped them away angrily. "Till we meet again friend." I said before walking back into Ken's house. When I entered I did something no one expected and I don't understand why I did it but I did. I knocked the controller from Ken's hand and sat in his lap. I curled up and lay my head in the crook of his neck. He didn't waste time in wrapping his arms around me. "Shhh... he is in a better place now... he is no longer in pain." Ken whispered in my ear rocking me back and forth like a child. I'm an adult man sitting in my adult friend's lap crying for Christ's sakes. I just broke down and Ken being the amazing friend he was just held me like it didn't look gay and pathetic at all. Felix... I will avenge you!
~~~~~~~~~~~ Well that's it! That was the end. I know it's only four chapters but there will be a squeal some time that will be longer. And it will also be crazier and action packed! Yeah everything I wrote was of course fiction except for the Youtubers. I love this guys and they are awesome! and also I don't know why but I think it would be a little hilarious if Pewdiepie found this in real life and read it xD he would be like... 'Whoa man' xD but I also did not own anything mentioned in this story.
