Kayla was a weird girl who had a weirder way of showing her emotions. Yens was a show off and a jerk to anyone he thought was below him...since he's a prince. Now the prince was attended her school, and almost instantaneously, had every girl in the school swooning over him. Kayla didn't get what the others were fussing about and walked past the group, not noticing that a certain prince was watching her go. Hmm a challenge, this school just got more interesting. Don't worry miss, I'll have swooning over me soon enough. The bell rang causing some of the girls to break from the trance and head to class as the prince found his way to class. When he entered he saw it was a mainly male class which made him wince until a familiar eared hood pops up and he sees the girl from earlier. That makes it a lot more bearable. He noted how she sat alone and mostly just worked on the assignment at hand. He was sat next to Kayla and noticed how some of the other males were looking at her too. "Hello class my face is over here." The class looked at the teacher except for Kayla who was working. "Better, so for- yes mister Jordan." He said rather annoyed.
"Why is there a girl in this class...not that I'm complaining!" He quickly added to the glares he was getting. Right before the teacher could respond, Kayla got up from her seat, walked to the front, turned in the paper she was working on, and then turned towards the class with a smile that sent shivers down everyone's spine.
"I'm here due to the overwhelming lack of females in this department of education, so if you mind not questioning why a person with a brain, who just happened to be of the opposite gender, is doing in a facility of learning? Then you might actually learn too, simpleminded saplings." She said mumbling the last part as she apologized then returned to her seat. Everyone, except for the teacher, was in complete shock at what just happened. They were taken out of their thoughts by the bell ringing and Kayla gone. Yens found out that he had Kayla in every one of his classes. He smiled knowing he had all the time in the world to make her fall for him.
Kayla was in the library for most of school with the excuse that everywhere else was to loud for her sensitive ears.Yens learned a lot about Kayla through both the girls and guys of the school. The most common thing was that she was insane and it was a bad idea to be around her. She seemed to have friends and she simply looked like a happy person to be around.
A week after his entry, Yens went up to Kayla and dropped a note on her book the walked away. "Hey I think you-" Kayla trying to call out to Yens, but he was gone. Kayla read the card and buried her head in her book internally screaming.
Kayla stood by the tree in the middle of the lunch yard waiting for Yens. "Hi hope I didn't keep you waiting here for long." Yens said rubbing the back of his head shyly.
"It's okay I was only out here for a minute." She said lying through her teeth. He chuckles at this making Kayla look away. "So why did you call me here?" Yens leans forward and pecks Kayla on the cheek making the lateral highly confused.
"I learned a lot about from others, and it made me think of how interesting you must be, and I was...why are you crying?" He asked looking concerned as he wiped her tears away.
"No one said that to me and you'll just hurt me like the rest and-" she was cut off by Yens pulling her into a hug holding her close to him.
"I won't be like the others, I'll treat you like the princess you are." He said as Kayla just nodded holding him as well. The two started to date, and Kayla felt wanted by someone as the prince found his perfect princess.
