The Crash

Jon's POV

"So what are you going to Florida for?" The girl next to me, on the plane, asks.

"I'm, uh, going to see my, uh, boyfriend." I answer, wrinkling my nose, nervously. I don't care to be judged by the person I have to spend the next 3 hours with.

"Ah. Long-distance relationship?" She asks, understandingly.

"Yeah. I'm from Texas. We don't get to see each other often unless we have free time, or we're making a video together." I answer.

"You look really familiar. Are you the After Ever After guy?"

"Ha ha. Yeah. That would be me." I laugh.

"Oh, cool. I love the After Ever After videos, I mean, not like in a 'I know more about you than you do' kind of way, but like a 'oh, cool' way. Which I already said but I was just, uh, clarifying that I'm not some creepy stalker or something. So um I'm uh gonna shut up now." She rambles in an awkward way that I know all too well.

"Hah. No need to shut up. Thanks by the way, I'm Jon. And social anxiety is a bitch ain't it?"

"Haha. Yeah. And I'm Morgan."

"You're better than me. I would've just sat here in silence the whole time."

"Attention Passengers. We are experiencing some turbulence. Please fasten your seat-belts." The intercom announced, the pilot sounding a little panicked. I quickly fastened my seatbelt. I got my phone out and texted Thomas.

Me: "Hey baby. I'm on a plane, I was coming to see to, but the pilot said there will be some turbulence. I doubt that anything will happen, but just in case. I want you know, that you mean the world to me, and I love you so much."

I put my phone on airplane mode and put it in my back pocket.

Passengers, I hate to scare you like this, but you all need to prepare yourself for impact.

I look at Morgan, panicked, and she gives me the same look. We both pull our knees to our chests and put our heads down. I reach for her hand as we begin to plummet to the ground. And then...

Black.
