It has been a long and aggravating trip but at last we were already on the bus heading to Canterlot High. This time, we were dressed in our everyday schooling uniform, a white collar shirt, the same olive green pants and a sky blue tie along with a metal badge of our school emblem pinned on our chest pocket. Not forgetting, a pair of white canvas shoes. I glanced at my watch, 7.30am. Normally, school would have already started for the day and it should be 3am in the morning  back home. I looked around the bus. Some of my friends were still sleeping, some were tapping away on their devices while some just looked outside, admiring the new surroundings and atmosphere. Our teacher in charge, Mr. Frey sat in the front row of the bus, he was chatting away with another teacher. I then turned to Crystal who was busy scrolling through his phone, reading some of the articles posted on the website of Canterlot High School.

"Wow, Canterlot High sure has a lot of interesting events" exclaimed Crystal. "Freshman Fair, Sun Dance, Spring Fling, Fall Formal..." and there he goes trailing off.
"Heck, even our school can't do all that" I murmured, kind of looking down on my own school and turned to the window.
"Hey Astral, Twilight has been crowned 'princess' before in Fall Formal. Take a look"
He then passed me his phone. I saw the familiar yet beautiful picture of Twilight in her purple dress and the golden crown placed on her head. I sigh and subconsciously rested my chin on my palm. Then I noticed something off. She looked different. The Twilight I knew was a bit awkward, antisocial, and a heck of a book worm. "Strange, she looks different."
"Maybe she's change," Crystal voiced "She transferred to Canterlot High after all"
I thought for a whole then nodded in agreement and passed the phone back to him.

My attention was suddenly driven to three boys  in the front seat. One of them were tinkering some kind of prismatic toy or at least I think is a toy. They were fiddling with that thing since the start of our trip and it seems that they always whisper to each other. Mr. Frey stood up, cutting off my thoughts as well as suspicion, and held on one of the seats, "Alright everyone we are reaching Canterlot High," he said in a gentleman's voice "I want all of you to be on your best behavior. Remember, you are not only representing your school but your country." If you're wondering, our school takes priority on our country's name and reputation, talk about patriotism.

A few minutes into explaining the rules, Mr. Frey rubbed his hands and announced what we all have been waiting to hear "Speaking about Canterlot High, we're already here!" He happily said as the bus came to a halt. Immediately, all of us got up from our seats and formed a line managed by Mr. Frey and the other teacher. The line clumsily walked out of the vehicle and soon enough, I set foot on the school ground. A refreshing zephyr welcomed me as I stared agape at the massive building in front of me. This is it, Canterlot High!

The school had a simple architectural design yet a lot of detail with its structure shaped like a large U. In the middle of the building was a glass dome and atop of that was a castle-like structure with a red flag. Each apex of the building, stood a golden head of a horse. The building was fixed with tall windows, the entrance had cyan-stained glass windows and golden roof above a fleet of stairs. The walkway was shaped like a semicircle, leading to the school. Then there was the statue of a white horse in front of me and a golden horseshoe on a platform which must be their school emblem. Overall, the school just give a warm and homely vibe.

"That must be the principal"  Crystal pointed to Mr. Frey talking to a woman with pale rainbow-colored hair as he handed me my luggage. She shook hands with our teachers and they then calmly walked towards our group.
"Hello everyone, I am Principal Celestia, and welcome to Canterlot High." Her voice was regal and poised.

Autonomously, we shifted our attention to her even though we are still in utter amazement by the new atmosphere. "Now before we do anything else, we are going to the gymnasium for a special assembly", she continued in a strangely alluring voice "Follow me and try to keep up."

We left our luggages in a classroom and walked down the hallway, passing by some classrooms and green lockers which went well with the color scheme of the school. Some of the students were putting their stuff into their lockers and walked towards what I think is the gym after staring at us for a couple of seconds as if we were in a dull parade held  for no apparent reason and only to be humiliated by public. Okay that was a bad metaphor. While my friends looked around, absorbing the new atmosphere of the school, I was looking around for that magenta colored skin girl. No sign of her unfortunately. She's probably already in the hall. Then, I glanced at someone which I swear made time slowed down. A boy with blonde hair wearing a white shirt with a pair of jeans was holding the same prism I saw in the bus but only difference is that this one was glowing dimly. Okay... what is going on? Is that some kind of magical relic or device? I've never seen anything like that before and why was that in particular glowing? Alright Astral don't over think. Maybe is just a new trend or something.
Crystal elbowed my arm and completely deleted all of my thoughts. Dammit. "You were looking for her weren't you?"
"Yes. And?"
He giggled a bit "I guess sleeping in a plane makes you talk in your dreams"
Crap... that word was written all over my face.
"Don't worry." He said, lifting his hand to emphasize, "Your secret's safe with me"
Finally, we stepped onto the wooden floor boards of the gym which was also used as a hall, I think. The hall was congested with students with different outfits and styles. I know it's nothing surprising or new, but for me it is. I saw Principal Celestia and Mr. Frey walking up to a stage not too far from where we stood and instantly, the whole building became silent as we wait for the principal to commence the assembly. As we waited, I pondered about
