will's soul is shattered. he lost him months ago, but it feels like only yesterday. the wounds are still fresh in his mind. his bones ache and his heart burns as everywhere he looks he is reminded of the boy who was taken too soon. the world is dark now.

draco is scared. his father has been on edge for months, and every day a brave face is a new battle. he knows his time will come soon, and his body shakes at night when he is alone. danger is manifesting in every corner of his life, and he is all too aware. the world is dark now.

it is all too much. will can barely breathe with the weight that clings to his chest. his eyes seem empty whenever he catches a glimpse of himself in the mirror; the swirling mass of emotion in the pit of his stomach seems to have overloaded his senses. the nightmares eat away at his mind, and no one can help ease his pain. he fears the worst.
BE WITH THEM
then, draco follows a guiding angel whose golden hair floats as she walks, until she leads him straight into the arms of a boy with trembling hands just as cold and cautious as his own. and everything changes.
