Chapter Nine

Talia's Pov

"Talia!" The door opened and I was instantly greeted by Pilar, my brother's girlfriend. What a surprise.

"Hey Pilar," I forced a smile trying to sound as excited as she is. I was kind of hoping that Sergio would be alone, but looks like my hopes are down the drain.

"Sergio is so worried about you! He's been calling everyone and asking about you!" She spoke while letting me into Sergio and I's house from the cold.

"I know, its why I'm actually here. I need to talk to him, he's home right?" I asked, watching as she nodded her head, before calling his name.

"What's wrong babe?" Sergio asked as he appeared into the living room. "Talia?!" His eyes widened, before he ran over to me and pulled me into a hug.

"I was so worried about you!! Where were you?! You never answered my texts or calls and no one knew where you were! I was a step closer to contacting the police department and filing a missing report!"

"I'm sorry," I whispered while looking down as soon as he let go of the hug. He sighed as he turned to Pilar, as if asking her to give us some alone time, which she thankfully did.

"Where were you Lia?" He asked again, "I was at James," I answered truthfully, "though please don't get mad at him! I was the one who made him promise on everything that he wouldn't tell you! He actually convinced me to stop being stubborn and to come and talk to you!"

"I know I overreacted by leaving the house, and ignoring all your calls and texts! But I was so angry Sese, angry at myself and not at you!" I sighed while looking down, "you're always there for me and you're always making sure I have everything I need, yet I never fail to disappoint you!" I bit my lower lip to prevent myself from crying, "when you said what you said, I felt like I was a burden on you and that I'm making everything hard on you! I never get the chance to thank you for granting me such a wonderful life! You made me realize that I don't need my parents to grow up into a good person as long as I've got you by my side Sese, and I'll forever be grateful that I have someone like you in my life! I know I don't say it a lot, but I appreciate everything you've ever done for me, and I love you!"

Sergio grinned before pulling me into a bone-crushing hug. "I love you so much Talia! You'll never be a burden to me!"

I snuggled deeper into his chest, enjoying his warm embrace, which I really missed. "Never do that to me again Lia!" He whispered into my ear, before planting a kiss on my forehead and letting go of the hug.

"I promise you Sese! Never again!"

Neymar: I miss you

Neymar: I'm sorry, I overreacted

Neymar: I love you so much princess

Neymar: please forgive me!

The notifications from my phone woke me up from my very small but very needed nap.

I quickly sat up as soon as I caught a glimpse of Neymar's name. God, I missed him.

Talia: I'm sorry too Ney!

Talia: I overreacted as well, but I love you too!

Neymar: so you forgive me?

Talia: of course I do Ney! I can't stay mad at you forever, you're my everything!

Neymar: great, because there's something I need to talk to you about..

Talia: same actually

Neymar: well you go first

Talia: u sure?
