I was now 29 weeks pregnant, and we were having our baby shower. Everyone was there even Adam with his new girlfriend it was kind of weird but we are trying our best to co-parent kane for the sake of him. I was outside with my friends watching the kids run around as the shower was over and lots of people left when all of a sudden I hear yelling from inside and my friends Dwayne girlfriend ran out to me "hailey you need to go inside it's Adam and Jeffrey" she whispered in my ear I looked at her worried and got up and left everyone there as I was speed walking inside. I walked in to Adam and Jeffrey yelling at each other "why can't she take a fucking hint" Adam yelled at Jeffrey "your only with her because of her money" as soon as he said that I knew it was going to be even worse "I'm going to fucking kill you" Jeffrey said as he started walking to him Dwayne stepped in the middle and held Jeffrey back knowing if Jeffrey got to him it would be bad. Jeffrey kept trying to push Dwayne out of the way while Adam just stood there like a ass smiling. "I'm going to kill you goddamn it" Jeffrey yelled at Adam

I've never seen him this mad before his veins where popping out of his neck "Jeffrey look at Hailey look at her go to her" Dwayne told him as they both looked at me, Jeffrey looked at me with depression in his eyes not knowing I was there the whole time, thankfully everyone was outside and music was playing so no one knew what was going on. I didn't want to get involved because one I was pregnant and two stress isn't good even though this was so stressing me out. He looked at me "I'm sorry" he said and started walking over to me "that's right go to the money she probably paid for the house didn't she" Adam said and laughed Jeffrey snapped his neck around and went right back for him and threw a punch and they started fighting "Jeffrey stop Jeffrey" I yelled and started crying. Dwayne yelled for Jayden who was walking in to get a beer. He ran over to Adam as Dwayne got Jeffrey off of Adam "get your hands off me" Jeffrey yelled as he snapped his arm away from Dwayne

"Jeffrey go away now" Dwayne said as he helped Jayden get Adam out of the house along with his girlfriend. Jeffrey was so mad the threw a beer and it smashed all over the floor. He looked at me and saw I was crying and walked over to me "baby I'm so sorry" he said and pulled me in for a hug "I'm so so sorry" he pulled me away and looked at me "please stop crying" I looked up at him his cheek was bloody. I walked away and went to go make sure Adam had left "Jeffrey fucked him up pretty good" Dwayne said as he started walking into the house with me. When we walked back in Jeffrey was sitting with ice on his knuckles. "Hailey" he said as I walked right past him and when outside to tell everyone bye as they started to leave. I walked back in and started talking to Dwayne and Jayden. "Hailey can I talk to you" Jeffrey asked I looked at him and walked into the bedroom and he followed "I'm sorry baby I really am, I should've controlled my anger I know he just really got under my skin, please forgive me don't be mad" he said and looked at me sad "I'm not mad at you I'm upset that you stooped down to his level and I just don't want you to get hurt" I told him he pulled me into a hug "I know it wont happen again" he said i looked at his face and pulled his head down so I could see it "it looks like it hurts and is still kinda bloody" I told him "It does a little bit" he said and kissed me. We walked out of the room and went to hangout with the Dwayne and all them for the rest of the night. Later that night his face was still all bloody and the kids went with Jeffreys mom when the party ended. He got a phone call from his mom and walked outside i waited a little bit then walked out to him. He was crying on the phone and I heard his mom say "she's the right one for you don't mess it up over her ex he's a ex for a reason, and you cant stress her out she's pregnant remember that"

He didn't know I was there "I know mom I just really messed up she says she not mad but I know she is, I can't lose her and our baby" he said crying a little. I walked up and hugged him from behind "your not baby I promise" I said and kissed his cheek.
