I got up and walked out to Jeffrey cooking breakfast. "Hey baby" he said and smiled at me "hey" I said and looked at his cheek that was bruised and cut "can I put ice on your cheek please" I said as I walked over to the freezer he just looked at me as I pulled ice out and put it in rag, I gave him the rag and had him sit down as I finished breakfast and put it all on a plate and sat next to him.
