Ophelia and Bailey got to know eachother, they met up at the pond every day after Ophelia got back from school.
Every day Bailey looked worse, and Ophelia hoped nothing would happen any time soon.
At home she sat and ate cereal sadly.
"What's wrong honey?" Her father took a seat next to her and she shook her head.
"Bailey's only getting worse..." she whispered and closed her eyes. She was pulled into a hug and she broke into tears. She wasnt shown too much affection, especially not from her father.
"She's strong she'll get better."
But she didn't.
Ophelia had to visit her in a hospital room every day now, and by the looks of it Bailey wasn't gonna make it.
Ophelia made her soup, and special smoothies with lots of vegetables for vitamins.
One day she visited and Bailey was sitting up, looking into nothingness. Ophelia rushed to her side and shook her.
"I don't want to die..." a shaky voice came from the skeleton in front of her. She held her friend close and sobbed.
"You won't..."
"But maybe it'd be best..." Bailey turned her head and smiled "I'll finally be out of this living hell we call life, I'll go to heaven, or into nothingness. Anything is better than how I feel now."
Ophelia's voice cracked as she cried loudly.
"I love you Phelia..."
The brunette looked up only to see lifeless eyes. The beep in the room was the only thing she could hear as she screamed and nurses ran in to drag her out.
She saw a smile on Bailey's face and knew she died peacefully.

"Woah..." she stared at Xander who sat on her bed in front of her.
He took both of her hands in his and squeezed them.
"I'm here for you, bestie!" He pulled her close and she smiled, wrapping her arms around him.
"The world hates me"
She flopped back onto her bed and he fell next to her.
"No, the world took the life of someone who was suffering, so that the pain would go away..."

Ophelia sat at a table in a café in front of Bailey's mother.
"My girl loved you more than you think..." sindee whispered. "We know you're two years older but she had a crush on you..." she laughed awkwardly and tears rushed to the corners of Ophelia's eyes.
She nodded quietly and listened.
"We want you to speak at her funeral... blah blah blah..." she continued on and Kismet stepped forward, slinging his arm over Ophelia's shoulder.
"You gonna do it?" He whispered in her ear and she shivered.
"Of course I am..." Ophelia mumbled inaudibly.
"Why? You just met her!" Kismet laughed and Ophelia ignored him.
"Will you speak at the funeral?" Sindee asked, eyes pleading.
"Yes, I'll talk about how much I loved her, how sweet she was... I will make the world know how amazing Bailey was..."
Kismet stared wide eyed, no longer laughing, but listening to every great thing that was spoken about the little girl.
"I-I'm sorry Ophelia..."
She ignored him.
"I'll tell them how beautiful she is, how incredibly beautiful she is. I'll talk about her love for birds and what her favourite music is, I'll talk about how much I missed her from the second she left us... because I really do love her." Ophelia broke into tears and Armaria and Zilo, who had been watching from afar ran forward to hug her.
"Good job Kismet!" Zilo growled, Sindee leaned forward to hug the frail girl, as did Kismet.
"Thank you... you don't understand how much this means..."
"Mama, I don't want to die, I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all"
