Violet POV
I woke up to Dawn screaming at someone, with a severe headache and bandages wrapped around my freshly broken ribs. The nurse asks if i need to go home when she noticed I'm awake and I tell her I'm fine even though my body feels like I went through hell and back literally. I get up and put my hoodie on over my sports bra and bandages wincing as I moved my arms to far up. I head to 2nd period which hey I have with Travis YAY (note sarcasm)
I get to second period and everyone turns to stare at me I brush them off and go sit at my seat in the back alone because none of my friends are in this class with me. The teacher a kind man named Mr.Blake comes back to my desk and gives me my notes and tells me to just relax for the few remaining minutes of class. I lay my head down and immediately about five paper balls are thrown at me I look up to see three boys with their girlfriend's smirking at me I flip them off and put my head back down, ten minutes later the bell rings signaling that I should head to third period which is gym with Travis, Dawn, Dylan, and Derek. I get up and head out the door to meet up with my triple terror friends so we can walk to gym together. Today we are playing my all time favorite sport LACROSSE YAY!!! Literally no joke I love lacrosse I will play even with broken ribs it's really fun and worth the pain. As soon as Dawn and I are done dressing in our gym clothes and out of the locker room we head to our seat in the bleachers. As soon as everyone's done Coach tells us to get our lap and go in the cut off gym and grab our gear. We all put on our jerseys and grabbed our lacrosse sticks when coach called me over to him when I got close he put a team jersey in my hand with my name on it and said that he was putting me on the school team which the team captain of the team is drum roll Travis ah well I'll still join the team. I yelled a thanks to coach right as our teams split up mine and Travis' team were first up to play against each other.Me and Travis faced off for the ball. Coach blew the whistle and I got the ball and took off running I got blocked off so I tossed the ball to Dawn she caught it then passed it to Derek then Derek tossed to Dylan then he tossed it to me and we scored.
We were all happy because we kicked ass! But in the end I had to run suicide laps until fourth bell because I punched a lupa (sl#t in latin) who called me a cheater and a bit*h in the face. Afterward coach gave me a highfive because she had to go to the nurse and he heard what she said and thought it was funny because I stood up for myself whereas I knew I was in trouble later because she's popular. Ok now it's off to fourth period which is Agriculture with none off my friends but again I have all of my classes with Travis except band.
