Travis POV
I made my way out the door and towards the stairs the whole time Violet was playing with my hair. I looked down and smiled at her while she blushed and hid behind her hair. I chuckled and moved her hair behind her ear "your blush is beautiful love don't hide it" I said and she blushed more and buried her face in my neck. I chuckled again and started up the stairs to her room whitch was beside mine. When we got there she refused to let go of my neck unless she was able to stay with me I chuckled and she hid her face deeper in my neck. I walked out of the room and over to mine she relaxed. "Can I take a shower?" Violet asked I chuckled out a yes and carried her to the bathroom.
I sat her down on the side of the bathtub and got her one of my
t-shirts and a small pair of boxers to wear. I handed her them and a towl and helped her into the tub after helping her with her ripped up t-shirt. I walked out of the bathroom to let her have some privacy. I laid on the bed and waited on her to get done. About twenty minutes later she limped out of the bathroom. "I told you to yell for me and I'd help you" I said she gave me a small smile "didn't want to bother you I thought you were asleep" she said I sighed and got up. I walked over to her and hugged her, she squealed in suprise when I picked her up and I laughed while she hid her face in my neck while she giggled. I walked her to the bed and put her over by the wall so I could protect her if something happened. She laid her head on my chest and smiled I looked down at her with pain and regret in my eyes for what I did to her. She looked up and frowned at me "what's wrong?" She asked with concern in her voice I sighed "I'm just thinkin about how amazin you are and about why you didn't reject me for all the stupid shit I did" she suprised me by slapping me on the back of the head " pardon the french but I would never reject you ya big dumb ass" she said in all seriousness while I laughed at her very colorful vocabulary. I looked back down and she suprised me by kissing me on the lips. She ended the kiss and kissed me on the temple while laying her head back down on my chest "I love you Travis I would never reject you" she whispered into my neck. I looked back down a few minutes later and she was asleep. I was watching her for a few minutes before my mum mindlinked me "how is she?"mum asked "good" I said lovingly through the link. My mum laughed "she's got you whipped" my mum sang in a sing song voice I scoffed "yeah so you got dad whipped so what does that say about all mated pairs hmm?" She laughed "true true but your worse than your dad" she said "I'm not worse than dad" I said feigning hurt she laughed "Goodnight son I love you" she said "Goodnight mum love you to". Violet started stiring so I put my arm around her and pulled her closer to my chest. I fell asleep staring at her memorizing everone of her features and injuries.
Violet POV
I woke up on Travis' chest straddling his waist with his arms around me while he slept. I decided to go back to sleep after I memorized all of his handsome features.
Travis POV
I woke up and watched my mate sleep. She looked like an angel that's been through hell. She is so beautiful and she looks so peaceful in her sleep. I moved a little bit but stopped when I saw pain flash across Violets features. I immediately mindlinked doc and told him that Violet looked like she was in pain. I shook her shoulder a little and she opened her eyes and yawned "what the hell Travis I'm fuckin tired" she said in her cute morning voice I chuckled "your not a morning person are you love?" "Fuck no" she said while crawling off my chest and burying her head in my pillow. I laughed again and picked her up while she was scrapping to get away so I laid her in the bed and went into the bathroom and ran cold water into the tub. I went back to the room and picked up a sleeping Violet walked back to the bathroom and put her into the cold water. She jumped up and hissed in pain when her ankle buckled I caught her and picked her up "dick" she said to where I could barely hear it. I chuckled "I'm your dick love"I said and kissed her as I sat her on the bed then I started tickling her she laughed and giggled while I straddled her waist to hold her down. We were interupted by her pack barging in with cameras laughing and snapping pictures before Violet gave them a mischievous grin promising retaliation. I got off of her and threw her some boxers shorts and a t-shirt. Her friends leave and she starts changing without asking me to turn around so when my shirt is past her midriff I turn around she chuckles "what scared?"She asks. I turn back around to see her standing up trying to get the boxers off I chuckle "need help?" I ask while walking toward her I make her sit down and pull my boxers the rest of the way off of her. I take the boxers from her and slide those up to her hips and then help with the shorts. I went to get a shower and left her with my phone to play on. I come back out about twenty minutes later and she's gone. I panic and start yelling for her and running to the kitchen to see her sitting on one of the chairs with my phone and my pillow. I sigh in relief and go over and bury my face in her neck she chuckles "miss me?" She ask "hell yes what the hell happened to bed rest and I'll carry you hmm?" "Well Derek came up stairs and decided to hold my hands together and give me a ride downstairs as an apology while everyone else is still going to get alpha rath except for Tyler and Dylan" she said. "Well what did Dylan and Tyler do to earn forgivness?" "Dylan got me a puppy and Tyler got me strawberries and cookies"
She said. I laughed "you forgive to easy" I said she stuck her tongue out at me "if I didnt forgive and forget you wouldn't have you're mate with you right now then would you?" I hugged her tighter to me and heard her take a quick breath in pain "omg I'm such a fuck up I'm sorry Violet do I need to call doc?!?" "No" she said through clenched teeth. I waited a few minutes for doc to get there then backed away from Violet she turned around and I saw hurt cross her features as I walked away to talk to my mum. I made it to my mum's hideout I walked in and immediately went straight to her and hugged her and cried I put my mate through hell and I just hurt her because she told me the truth she deserves someone better. My mum caught on to my thoughts and slapped me on the back of the head "never think anything like that ever" my mum scolded me I nooded my head yes and I thought I felt a small presence in my mind but I couldn't catch it. "I'm going for a run" I said "ok but be careful and talk to the doc about Violet" she said "ok" I mumbled. I ran out the side of the door to my mum's hideout and shifted into Koda he looked back at the house then took off into the woods. I came back after dark and went straight to my room to find Violet but she wasn't there. I ran to the kitchen but she wasn't there I ran all over the pack house screaming for Violet but I couldn't find her anywhere. I ran to my mum "she went home after you left she shifted despite the docs warnings and left everyone here I'm sorry baby" my mum said I dropped to my knees and started crying I literally fell asleep crying on my mum's hideout floor. I woke up in the mornin determined to get my mate back I ran upstairs and dressed in dark wash jeans and a tight fitting black t-shirt.
