The hunger games (Katniss and Peeta) the trip never ends

Chapter 1

So a little bit after the rebellion katniss and I are sitting on the couch

I turn to katniss and ask "katniss I know we are married now and I think it's time we start a family I wanna have kids!"

Katniss stairs off for a minute thinking about kids and turns to me and says "ok I'm ready to start a family"

I smile in delight and I kiss her and later that night some stuff happens the next morning I wake up to Katniss staring at me with a smile on her face.....later on that day i gets down on my knees and put my hands on katniss's stomach and I say "I'll see u in 9 months"

~9 months later~

katniss is in the hospital and is giving birth to the new baby boy a few hours later katniss is holding the baby I look at her smiling and tears of joy running down my face

"how about we name him rye......rye mellark" I say

"that sounds like a perfect name for him" she says and has a tear of joy run down her face

  I wipe off the tears and kiss her, I say "I love u"

she says "scream it scream it loud to where the whole world would know"

i whispers in her ear "I love u"

she looks up at me in concern and asks "why did u whisper it?"

i look at her "because u are my world!"

She smiles and I do too,

the nurse walks in "you guys can go home if u would like"

we look at each other and I say "are u ready to go home because we can stay another night if u need to"

she says "no I'm ready to go home"

i nod my head in approval. We head home and i had part of the house sectioned off because i was working on a surprise for the baby so we get home and katniss is standing in the living room

I turn to face her "close your eyes!" i say smiling

"okay?" She says chuckling but wondering what's gonna happen

i take her hand and lead her into the back room and I had painted the walls and I painted what the meadow looks like with a sunset and tall grass with trees in the distant the crib is painted a forest green and the room smells like rose Mary and mint just the way katniss smells so every time I would walk in the baby's room i would smell katniss i put katniss right in the middle of the room 

she sniffs "ohhh it smells good in here"

i smile "open your eyes" i say gently

she opens her eyes and looks around and there after a moment she looks at me and she has a tear of joy running down her face "peeta?" She says softly

"yea" i say in the same tone

she runs up to me and wraps her arms around my neck and hugs me "I love it" she says

"you do?" I replay

"yes! I almost love it as much as I love u but of course u win my heart" she says smiling

"I love--" I say before she cuts me off and starts kissing me!

After a minute or so I pull back "it's 10:30 we should lay the baby down and get some rest ourselves.

Next morning the baby's crying.

Katniss runs in ryes room and picks him up and cradles him in her arms

"shh shhh don't cry mommys here" she says softly

"I'll sing u a song" she says

"deep in the meadow" she starts singing softly

"under the willow a bed of grass a soft green pillow lay down your head and close your eyes and when they open the sun will rise here it's safe here it's warm here the daisies guard you from every harm here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true here is the place where I love u" she sings so softly that the baby goes to sleep

I'm standing in the door way "wow that was a beautiful song" i say

"was that the song u sang to rue and prim?" I say looking at her

"ye-yes it was" she says having a tear form in her eye

"I'm sorry I brung it up" i say and look down at the floor

"no it's fine" she says and stands up walking toward me and kisses me

"what was that for?" I ask still looking at the ground

"everything" she starts smiling

"what do u mean by everything" I say in return

"well I can give u a list of stuff!" She says trying to get me to smile but doesn't work

"like what" i say and look up a little to where he can only see her chin

"well our marriage, rye, for our friends and family! Everything peeta I love u!" She says hoping I'll say it back

"I love u too!" I say in return

"look at me" she says

"why?" I say in return

"because I need to tell u something" she says,

I look up at her and she leans in and starts kissing me I pull back "let's go cook breakfast" i say with my head down

"okay.." she says and walks slowly behind me and closes the door softly.

I'm in the kitchen cooking and katniss is laying down on the couch....a few moments later katniss looks at me and I'm making cookies and she walks over there "whatcha doin?" She says smiling

"I'm making cookies in the shape of baby bottles, raddles, and baby toys." I say continuing what I'm doing and i crack a smile in the process

"well....would u like some help?" She says hoping I'll say yes

"yea...I would love some help" I say and I scoot over a little so she can help.

1 hour later

katniss is sitting on the couch and I am to i scoot toward katniss and i look at her "so when rye gets about 4 do u umm.....kinda hmm..." I say studdering in an awkwardly way

"do I want what?" she asks a little bit concerned

"another one?" I ask probably knowing the answer is going to be no

"yea...we can have another one like I said if I have one I'm having two" she says smiling uncontrollably

I smile back and kiss her "I love u" she says still smiling

"I love u too baby" I say and tuck her bangs behind her ear.
