Amethyst's POV
RING! RING! RING!
"What the?!" I groan to myself as i hear the irritating sound of my phone ringing, I mean, Who is that arse disturbing my sweet slumber?! "Hello." I answer and it seems my voice is still very tired, "AMETHYST!" Replies my one of a kind best friend, Violet, "Bitch..." I mutter under my breathe, "What did you say?" your annoying, "I said Good morning." I manage to pull off a fake polite manner towards her, So gullible "What do you want in this fine and quiet Saturday morning?" I asked hoping it's something important enough, "Let's go shopping!" Ah... Those typical movie best friends, "For what? Your obviously gonna use it at 'Home' only." I put an emphasis on the word 'Home' "No silly! For the party!" She giggles, "Wha-" "For Courtney's Party." She pulls off another giggle, If she giggles one more time, I swear I'll smack her so hard.
"Courtney?" Guessing whose Courtney? Well she's a friend, Well if you ask me DON'T be friend her, She's coldhearted, That's right 'Coldhearted', Her pranks are what you call, 'OVER THE EDGE' She'll spread rumors or figure out secrets and spread them as in wildfire, "Ok Whatever, But after shopping can I ditch you and go to work?" I asked her pinching the bridge of my nose "Sure."
After that sudden yet annoying wake up call, I decided to prompt up myself to get ready for the day ahead, I made my way to the bathroom and got myself into nice hot shower to wake up my senses, And man! Does it feel good to feel clean, I stepped out of the shower wiping my wet body parts, I made my way back to my bedroom, And got out my outfit for the day, Today I decided to wear a Baby blue sweater with Black leggings matched with White sneakers, And I put up my hair into messy bun, And to top of the 'OOTD' I put on just a light natural make up, Just to make me seem less pale.
I went out of the flat that i still live in with my mum and went to the cafe near the park to meet her up.
"Hey!" I turn my head to spot a black haired girl wearing a beanie "Hey Violet." I smiled at her and i put my arm around her, "So what do you wanna eat? My treat." She winked at me like a lesbian which was weird "Uhm.. Just a chocolate chip frap, Just medium." I told her my order as i hovered on my eyes on the menu board, "As usual Love, Just go find us a seat." I walked away and searched for a seat, After minutes of finding a vacant seat, I see a seat nearby the window showing a beautiful scenery of the park.
I tapped my fingers while humming to Ed Sheeran's "A Team" while waiting for Violet, Suddenly a tall figure was by the tree, Though i couldn't see his face because his hoodie was over his head, "Hey! here it is." She placed our order on the table and sat down, I looked back at the window and the tall figure was gone, "What'cha looking at?" She mumbles while stuffing macaroons in her mouth, "N-n-nothing." I stutter as i took a sip on my drink, She shrugged and minded her business, That was a weird way to start the morning.
Time went by slowly, Violet shopped for the party, And i maybe bought a pair of shoes incase i needed to match it with my outfit, I ditched Violet and went to work, If you ask what's my work, I'm a model at Lemington.inc, Very fancy, Yes, I get inside the place and my make up artist and my hairstylist ran to me and did my hair and stuff.
"Hey there Amethyst, Glad you showed up at work." Here comes the Stage manager, "Yeah, I'm sorry for being late, it's was traffic," I manage to explain to my manager and i pray he listened, "I'm not here to scold you, i just want to say the big boss is promoting you to head model, due to your perfect performance." He smiles at me and gives me the notice, Ok, I feel flabbergastered right now.
Just as i was rejoicing on my promotion i receive a text from an unknown number.
From: Unknown
'Hey Amethyst! Can't wait to see you again, maybe a little catching up like old times?'
Seriously this day just got abit scary as i feel nervous actually, And i need to get to the bottom of this.
