The Funeral

Beth was sitting at her desk with her head on the desk. She couldn't believe that Lucy actually killed herself. She felt as guilty as everyone else. She felt even more guilty since she was hanging out with the people who started this. She was nice to her and thought of her as a friend. "I should have said something or done something. This is all my fault." That was the only thought that was racing through Beth's head. Beth's mom walked into her room. "I thought you would like to know that you don't have school for the rest of the week." Beth's mom said. Beth didn't respond. She was in so much shock that she didn't know how to function as an actual human. When her mom left she just layed in her bed and went to sleep.

Meanwhile Alyssa felt like she was the most guiltiest person in the whole school. She knew that out of all of her friends she was the main cause of Lucy's death. She never wanted Lucy to kill herself. That night she deleted the hate page and she deleted everything negative about Lucy on her feed and posted an apology to Lucy and tagged Lucy's account in it even though she knows Lucy herself will never open it. She walked downstairs to talk to her mom about what she had done. "Mom can I talk to you I've done something really bad?" Alyssa asked. Her mother already knew about Lucy's death since it was all over the news and online. She was so disappointed in her daughter that she didn't even want to look at her and she didn't even want to speak to her. Alyssa now knew what it felt like to be Lucy in a way. Trying to speak up but have no one listen. Alyssa began to cry and fell on her knees and prayed and asked Lucy for forgiveness hoping that maybe her spirit would be able to hear her.

Kyra woke up outside very confused. "How did I get here. Oh right he punched me and then he threw me outside." Kyra said to herself. The only thing Kyra could think about was Lucy. "I'm sorry Lucy" was the only thought she was able to keep in her head. She thought about all the good times she had with Lucy. Kyra never thought Lucy would kill herself. Kyra walked back into her house and saw that the Borley Valley news was on. "It is official every kid at Fernsworth Middle School will be moving to Borley Valley Middle School next year. Along with that Borley Valley will be receiving school uniforms so there is a ton of great stuff to come next year for Borley Valley Middle School." The news woman said. Bob stomped over to Kyra and kicked her and punched her then stormed off. Kyra was left on the ground with bruises all over her face.

Aubrey's dad was arrested when police found out that we was the person who shot and killed those two people months ago. The school held a gathering outside in honor of Lucy. Everyone was encouraged to bring a candle and light it for Lucy. Everyone brought a candle that day and everyone lit there candle and set it down in front of a picture of Lucy. It was finally Josh and Kat's turn to place their candles down and light them. Kyra was in front of them and she was sobbing uncontrollably. "Kyra what happened to your face?" Kat asked but she never received an answer. Beth cut in front of them and place her candle down and then walked away. Everyone knew that Beth felt extremely guilty. She felt so guilty that she cussed out Abigail and Crystal and Alyssa and her friends and she dropped all connections with them. Beth was already trying to turn her life around. It was finally Josh and Kat's turn to put down their candles. They both put down their candles and then Josh ran off and Kat ran after him. When she caught up to him he was crying so she hugged him. In that time Alyssa, Sara, Makenna, Ben, Abigail and Crystal put a candle down. Josh also felt extremely guilty. If he had only known what she was actually going through he wouldn't of said the things he said and he wouldn't have broken up with her.

The last day of school rolled around quick. Josh and Kat were an official couple. Alyssa and her friends still hung out together but they stopped gossiping about people and whenever people who were associated with Lucy look at them their eyes fill with sorrow and they frown. After Josh dropped Kat off at her house he went for a walk and found a park with a bench of benches and he just sat there and thought about Lucy. Every single memory of him and Lucy went through his head. He couldn't believe that he did this to someone he loved. Lucy has made a mark on all of their lives. She will be with everyone in that school until the day she dies. There won't be one day where someone doesn't think about Lucy. Lucy taught everyone in her school a lesson but it was such a shame she had to end her life just to do it.
