A Day In The Life Of Kyra Daniels

Ring... ring... ring went Kyra's alarm clock at 6:30 in the morning. Kyra then turned off her alarm clock quickly so she wouldn't wake up her parents or little brother. "Ugh it's already time to wake up." Kyra said. Kyra then got her outfit for the day and put it on then she went into the bathroom and brushed her teeth and her hair. "Ok so it is now 7:00 which means I need to hurry up and eat my breakfast so I can wake up mom and Danny." Kyra thought to herself as she made herself a bowl of cereal. She then ate her cereal and turned on the news to check the weather."Thank goodness it isn't gonna rain today so now mom can drive me to school instead of Grandma." Kyra thought. She then finished her cereal at 7:10 and washed her dish and woke up Danny."Danny... c'mon wake up now Danny." Kyra said while gently shaking her brother awake. After a minute of trying to wake up her brother he finally woke up at 7:14 then Kyra went to go wake up her mom." Mom wake up." Kyra said."Is it gonna rain today Kyra?" Lisa asked."No, mom so you can drive me to school today right?" Kyra asked." Well if it isn't gonna rain then I guess I have to take you." Lisa said while getting up. Kyra then walks out of her parents room to let Lisa change. After Lisa had changed she got Danny and fed him some apple sauce for breakfast then after he was done she put him on the couch and put on The Rugrats and took Kyra to school at 7:30.
"I wonder if Lucy is here yet she usually comes early" Kyra thought. She looked around to see if Lucy or Aubrey was here yet. As she was looking around Alyssa and Michelle started to walk up to her.
" Oh look it's the little poor loser." Alyssa said while shoving Kyra. " Ugh when was the last time you took a shower Kyra I can smell you from here." Michelle said. " Can you guys please stop?" Kyra asked. " Why the hell would we stop its so fun picking on you." Michelle said. " What did I ever do to you guys?" Kyra asked. " You almost ruined our reputation loser." Alyssa said. " Ya and our reputation is like so important and we can't lose it or else we would probably be ugly and poor like you." Michelle said. " Oh look the fat loser is here let's go Michelle." Alyssa said. Kyra then got a flashback to last year. Sara, Makenna, Michelle, and Kyra were all standing in a circle talking. Kyra didn't look like she normally does. Instead of her hair being down it was long and in a low pony tail. She wore a black and pink tank top and a denim skirt with white tights and black high heels. She also had bronze eye shadow on and pink lip stick. She was actually part of Alyssa's popular friend group at this time. " Yea well I got a new phone for Christmas Michelle and that's like so much better than a dog." Makenna said. " Yea your so right anyways Kyra what did you get for Christmas?" Michelle asked. " Oh I got some new clothes and makeup." Kyra said. " Guys here comes Alyssa." Sara said. " Omg hey Alyssa." Kyra said while hugging Alyssa. " Omg guys how have you been I haven't seen you guys in so long." Alyssa said. " I know right I got grounded so I couldn't go see any of my friends my parents are so stupid." Michelle complained. The Bell rang for  class to start. " Hey Kyra can I talk to you for a second?" Alyssa asked. " Sure." Kyra said and they went to the bathroom. " Ok so I asked Ben out." Alyssa said. " Omg you did what did he say?" Kyra asked. " He said yes." Alyssa said. " Omg I'm so happy for you two." Kyra said while hugging Alyssa. " Were gonna be best friends forever. " Alyssa said. 3 months later. " What do you mean Alyssa?" Kyra asked. " Look Kyra you can't hang out with us anymore. " Alyssa said. " But why Alyssa?" Kyra asked while starting to get tears in her eyes. " Look Kyra I found out about that crack head house you live in. I know your poor Kyra and that you lie about having a phone that is broken and can't text or call and about getting new clothes and makeup. " Alyssa said. " But why are you doing this
" Because me and everyone that you hang out with reputation's will be ruined because of you." Alyssa said. " But I thought we were going to be best friends forever. " Kyra said. " We were never friends Kyra. I thought you were rich so I hung out with you and made you popular. Also the whole school knows about your crack house and how poor you are." Alyssa said while walking away."
From that day forward Kyra's home life and school life were a living hell.
" Kyra... Kyra... Kyra." Miss. Wallis said. " What... oh sorry Miss. Wallis I guess I zoned out... sorry I won't do it again." Kyra said. Hours later school ended. As Kyra was leaving her last hour Miss. Jerkins art class she saw Aubrey in the hallway. "Hey Aubrey have you seen Lucy?" Kyra asked. "Oh she emailed me last night she has a cold so her mom let her stay home." Aubrey said. "Oh.. ok." Kyra said. "Is something wrong?" Aubrey asked. "Oh it's just that me and Lucy have a project in Art class that we were gonna work on." Kyra said. "Oh ok well good luck on your project." Aubrey said while walking away. The reason why Kyra wanted to know where Lucy was is because she needed someone to talk to about what Alyssa and her friends said to her this morning. She would have talked to Aubrey about it but she didn't think she would understand all the stuff she has been through. "Oh crap I forgot my English book." Kyra thought while she was about to walk out of the school. She ran to her locker and got her book but when she closed her locker door she saw Alyssa and Makenna coming her way. "Oh no... what do they want now." Kyra said silently to herself. "What's that smell... Do you smell that Makenna?" Alyssa asked. "Oh I know where it is coming from that pig over their." Makenna said while her and Alyssa started to laugh. Kyra then rushed passed them and walked out the school door. "I guess Grandma forgot to pick me up again... guess I have to walk home like always." Kyra thought while she started to walk to her house.

When Kyra finally got home she noticed her dad at home napping on the couch. She quietly walked to her room to check on her little brother Danny who was asleep like always. "I guess I should do some homework." Kyra said. She got out her English book and started reading the short story called "The Lottery". "Jeez whoever wins the lottery dies by being stoned to death by the other villagers... that has to suck." Kyra said while she closed her English Book and started putting her stuff away."I should probably go on my computer and email Lucy." Kyra thought as she walked into her living room. "Oh hey Kyra when did you get home?" Bob said. " Maybe 30 minutes ago... wheres mom at?" Kyra asked. "She's at a doctor appointment on the other side of town but she should be here soon." Bob said while he got up to get Danny out of his crib. Kyra then logged onto her computer and emailed Lucy to ask if she was feeling well but it didn't send.

"I'm home." Lisa said. "Hi mom whats for supper. "I believe the only things we have left are a few boxes of mac and cheese, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, chips, and the leftover ham grandma brought us." Lisa said. "Oh ok." Kyra said. Her mom then started cooking supper which was mac and cheese and left over ham. They didn't have much food so Kyra could only eat half of her food and then put it in the fridge for if her mom or little brother got hungry. She then got changed into her pajamas and watched Family Feud with her dad while her mom got Danny back to sleep. "I wish we could go on that show and win the money." Bob said. "If we won the money would we be able to get a new house?" Kyra asked. "Yes we would and you would get your own room... we would have enough food to last us for maybe a month." Bob said. "That would be the dream of a life time." Kyra said while imaging if they had enough money to buy a new house. At 9:30 Kyra finally went to bed and had dreams of what it would be like to win Family Feud.
