Derek's POV:

When I walked into the pizza parlor, my eyes landed on him and his eyes landed on me. My God, was he handsome.

"Derek?! Omg you look even bigger in person." Stiles said blushing and realizing what he said. "oh my gosh I didn't mean it like that."

"It's ok Stiles. I didn't take it that way anyways. So...how's your day been." I asked.

"Pretty good. It's gotten better since I get to see you." He said mumbling that last part.

"Yeah my day has gotten better since I'm seeing you now too." I said winking, letting him know I heard what he said. He started blushing immediately.

"Thanks Derek. So what do you want to talk about?" He asked.

"Us. I mean I really like you Stiles, I just want to get to know you better." I said.

"Yeah me too. I don't really want to rush things."

"I'm glad we're on the same page here. So do you wanna order now?" I asked

"Yeah, I'm starving." He said. After that he called one of the waitresses.

"Hi, my name is Marissa can I take your order?" The lady said.

"Yeah I'll have a strawberry lemonade and the tiny meat lovers pizza." Stiles said.

"And for you sir?" She said and winked. I saw Stiles tense up when she did that. He was jealous.

"Yeah I'll have root beer and the tiny BBQ chicken pizza." I said.

"Ok I'll get those right in for ya!" She said in a perky voice.

" Yeah ok!! Bitch" Stiles said, mumbling the bitch part.

"Awww is someone jealous?"

"Me? Jealous? Yeah no way."

"Stiles, I would get jealous if some guy or girl started talking to you."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I mean look at you. You are very handsome." I said, making him blush.

"Thanks Derek." He said with a big smile.

After a while of talking and getting to know each other, the lady came back with our pizza and drinks.

"Ok so is there anything else you guys want?" She said. Her eyes were looking directly into mine. It was very uncomfortable. Looks like she's not getting a tip.

"Umm not right now. Is there anything you need right now babe?" I said. I added the babe part to let her know that I was not interested and as soon as I said that, she backed off with the staring.

Stiles knew what was going on so he played along.

"No sweetheart I don't need anything at this moment." He said.

"Umm ok." She said. She walked away so fast that she tripped on her own heel. Stiles and I started laughing like idiots.

"Did you see the look on her face? It was priceless." He said.

"I know right!" I said. So far, this has been the best date I've been on in a while. I really want to do it again.

"Hey Stiles?"

"Yeah Derek?"

"I've had an amazing time so far and I really want to do this again."

"Yeah me to Der, can I pick the date next time? I have this place I want to show you."

"Ok I'd love that."

"Great!" He said.

"Great." I said.

After that, we just sat and ate our pizza and just got to know each other more. It was a great night.
