Adopted by Kaname Kuran

As Mackenna went through the days she became funny. People would find her in different places napping. Today she just picked a traditional spot. She picked her dad's bed. She laid on his pillow and in no time was asleep. When Kaname and Ichijo returned they were chuckling quietly and Kaname climbed in with her. He put one of his hands on her hand and the other one draped over her and rested on her stomach. "She's getting too cute," Ichijo teased. 

"Very much so," he whispered. Kaname then lifted her head and kissed her cheek which in turn made her curl into him. "I love you Mackenna," he whispered into her ear. 

"Wuv daddy," she sleep-talked. He smiled and rubbed her back. By the time dinner came she was hyper. Ichijo and Kaname had to always play a game of find the kid before she ate. She could be anywhere. 

"Mackenna," Kaname called. He heard a lot of laughing outside and saw Ruka and her playing around. He walked out and Mackenna ran to her. "Dinner time Mackenna," he informed. She nodded and he sat her in her booster seat and let her eat dinner. 

She wasn't up long after dinner. It was usually an hour after dinner that she was in bed. Ichijo began running a bath as Kaname began his normal calming routine of the evening. He brushed his fingers over her cheek and then rubbed her back in circles as he got in the bathroom. She was quiet during bath time due to the movement of Kaname's fingers. He was soft yet hard. He made it so her head felt soothed and just as the bath was over, Mackenna fell asleep in his arms. 

"Goodnight Mackenna," Ichijo chuckled as he kissed her head.
