"You are totally wrong! Why do you keep arguing with me on this?"
"Because you're the one who's wrong!" He argued, throwing his hands in the air. His face was red, as mine presumably was. "Yelling at me isn't going to prove you're right."
"But I am right!"
"No you're not! Pancakes are better than waffles!"
"Take. It. Back."
He stepped forward, a smirk tugging at his lips. His head bowed down toward mine, our nose brushing together. "No."
It might've been childish- this whole argument was- but I couldn't stop myself from sticking out my tongue and allowing it to make contact with his nose. He instantly recoiled, a look of disbelief flashing across his face. I hid my face behind my hand as I giggled, peeking through the cracks of my fingers. Amusement danced in his eyes, his eyebrows quirking upwards as he watched me laugh like a little girl.
"I can't believe you actually licked my nose." He shook his head, grasping my hips and pulling me towards him. He nuzzled his nose against my neck, pressing a kiss to my temple. I wrapped my arms around his torso, my head buried in his chest. "Don't go. Just stay a few more days."
I sighed, pulling away from his hold as I looked up at him. A small frown replaced the smile he wore just a few moments ago. "Ross, you know I can't. Classes start up again tomorrow and it'll look weird if I'm not in my dorm. I could get in trouble." At his silence, I gently cupped his cheek and placed a quick, but soft and gentle kiss on his lips. "We knew this wasn't going to be easy. We knew how difficult it would be. I would like nothing more than to stay here with you, but I can't."
"I never thought it would be this hard." He murmured, dropping his head onto my shoulder. "I knew it would be hard, but this is just..."
"I know." I nodded, running my fingers through his hair. He didn't need to say the unspoken words. I completely understood what he was trying to say. "I hate it, too."
The three words I desperately wanted to say were clawing its way out of my mouth, fighting to be spoken. I swallowed thickly, forcing them down. I couldn't say them, not yet. It was too early in our relationship to utter the words that could either make or break us. My heart physically ached at the thought of us breaking up because I fell too hard, too fast.
Snapping me out of my depressing thoughts, he kissed my forehead tenderly. "Since it's our last night together, let's go out to dinner. We can go to your favorite restaurant, take a nice walk afterwards...come back here for a movie and a quick nap." A teasing smirk became etched on his features at the last few words, wiggling his eyebrows in what I assumed was a sexual manner.
I hummed, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Sounds tempting, but your definition of a nap means sex, shower and another round of sex. There's no sleeping involved at all."
"Sleep comes after the third round of sex. Maybe the fourth." He winked.
My fingers tangled themselves in his soft blond locks, the tips of my fingers rubbing the back of his neck softly. "We could just skip dinner and go straight to the sex before I head back to my dorm."
I was lifted up in his arms and swept off to his bedroom before I could even blink, my body being dropped on the bed as he pounced like a lion after its prey.

My mini reunion with Lexie contained a lot of screaming and jumping up and down from her end. Her arms were wrapped my body so tight, my lungs struggling to breathe. Despite my face probably turning red from lack of air, I laughed. I loved spending my break with Ross, but I truly missed her. Lexie was definitely my best friend in New York.
