Lucy pov

I walk past the living room to hear "love is a vampires greatest weakness and we are not weak, brother" Nik yells my heart shattered as I silently cry "what about Lucy" Elijah says "she means nothing to me" Nik yells I step into the room "good to know" I said and walked away as Nik yelled my name with tears rolling down his face, I vamp sped away from the only man I ever loved.

1963

I walk into a bar to see "daddy" I whisper as I stare at the man who looks like my father, I shake it off and sit down "Lucy" I look up to see my father looking at me with teary eyes "daddy" I said with tears rolling down my cheeks, he got up and wrapped me in a hug "I thought you were dead" I sob "so did I" he said with tears escaping his eyes.

"I'm glad your not" I said hugging him tighter "me too, Lucy" he said holding me closer to his chest. Apparently uncle stefans a vampire too but drinks animal blood, I sat with dad and we were both drinking a glass of bourbon, I told him who raised me and who broke my heart, he hugged me and promised to stay with me as a father again.
