Chapter 17- goodbye and thankyou

CHAPTER 17

(ABIS PROV)

"Attention everyone" James says in his alpha voice which made everyone go quiet in seconds

"Ok so we have an announcement to make. Abi" he says handing the attention to me.

"Ok- uh hi guys umm I don't really know what to say because this is my first time speaking to the whole pack and to tell you the truth I'm so nervous so sorry if I make a mistake" I say taking a nervous breath. James puts an arm around me waist which instantly calms my nerves by a half.

"Ok so as you know I was pregnant but umm I went into labour 1 month early. So as you all know it doesn't sound to good. Anyway the baby which was a boy was %20 alive when it was in my stomach so it needed to come out so it doesn't kill me. So when the baby came put it went on oxygen and in an incubator. But sadly the baby didn't live. Riley Scott Haden did not live to experience life. So today at 1:00pm is a funeral. If you wish to come you can but if it Is to hard or you won't be Able to handle it that's ok. So it will be out at the clearing near the lake. Hope you can come. You are all dismissed now."

"You did amazing" James whispered

"Thanks" I took in a shaky breath

A few of the pack members came up and said offered their condolences.

James was talking to a few pack members so I went up to him and excused myself

"Sorry but I'm just going to get ready"

"I'll come with you" he said

"No it's ok you keep talking"

"Oh ok"

I walked to our house and got ready, I'm wearing a black dress with a white waist band. My hair is out and curled. I have foundation and eyeshadow with mascara and eye liner.

"Hey love" he said

"Hi" I said and turned around to see him in black dress pants with a white button up shirt.

"You look stunning babe" he says

"You don't look to bad yourself" I reply

"Ready?" He asked

"Yep. Lets go" I say

He wrapped his arm protectively as we walked to the ceremony. There was a little coffin at the front with a picture of the ultrasound I had. There was calm music playing along with a video of pictures of me with my stomach in different sizes. It immediately bought tears to my eyes.

The host of the funeral went up on the stage and tapped the microphone so she could start.

"Hello, my name is June and Its a very sad time for both our Alpha and Luna. I would like to say sorry about your lose. We are here today to say goodbye to a beloved new pack member Riley Scott Haden. He was born nearly unalive. He would of been a great brother to Baylee and Spencer and he still will be. He will be looking down on them and you Alpha and Luna. Alpha, Luna. Would you like to do your speeches?" She says

James and I get up and got onto the little stage.

"Um hi, now I don't really know what to say because I've never been to a baby funeral let alone a baby that I never held or looked into its eyes for the first time. But he is a survivor and will be one up there." I say pointing to the sky.

"So I probably should tell you all this. I might not be able to have a baby again. I can but its a slim chance of it surviving. So I would like to say thank you for coming and giving your support, it means a lot to me. To both of us. RIP little man and keep mum safe." I say meaning my mum.
