Chapter 2

Zaire in MM
After Zaire and I got home for the park I give her a bath and start dinner. My phone rings and its my best friend Jazmine.
*Phone Conversation*
Jazz: Hey boo
Me: Hey Jazz
Jazz: Where my goddaughter
Me: Watching TV
Jazz: I'm about to come by and spend sometime with my boo
Me: Okay come on
Jazz: Okay see ya!
I hear a knock on the door as soon as I hang up. I open the door and Jazz comes in. "How you get her so fast", I say. "I been here just been outside you know I'm a respectful person so I asked before I dropped through you might've had a nigga up in here or something". "What nigga you know I don't talk to no one". "Mmmhmm that's what they all say". I swear Jazz is crazy but I got to love her.  "Whatever", I say. "Aunt Tazz!" Zaire yells. "Hey baby!". They embrace each other and Zaire pulls Jazz to the TV with her. I turned dinner on low and join them so me and Jazz can catch up. Jazz and I met my freshman year in high school I switched schools because my mom decided to move to Atlanta so I could have more opportunities. I really am stressed because I don't know how I'm going go pay for Zaire to go to daycare I don't make enough money. I do hair and I do a great job but I don't have a lot clients. I work in my aunts shop so she looks out for me but I'll have to get another job and do hair when o have time if the job pays more. "What's wrong Cris you seem a little down?" Jazz said. "I am going to have to put Zaire and daycare and the money I make working at the shop won't cover that plus bills" I say. "Well there is this new place that opened it's a place you can chill at during the day it has food basically like a restaurant during the day but turns into a club at night I'm pretty sure it pays good and you can just work during the day so you can be home with Zaire at night" Jazz said. "A place you chill at during the day ummm Jazz I don't know I just don't want a work place with drama but if I do it I'll be my last option. "Mommy food" Zaire said. "Come to the table so you can eat baby girl". "K mommy". Zaire runs in the kitchen and tries to get in the chair herself she knows she is way too short. Jazz goes to help her "Let aunt Jazz help you" Jazz helps her in the chair and I give her dinner which is spaghetti. While I blow her food for her I turn around to see Jazz eating out my pot. "Girl if you want some fix a plate". "No because then I'll have to wash the plate and I got a date I don't got time". "Who you going on a date with" I ask. "This guy I met at work he kept asking so I guess I'll give him a try". "Well be careful" I say. "Always boo I'll see you later I'm going to get ready". She gives me and Zaire a hug and leaves. Once Zaire and I get done eating I clean the kitchen and we clean up and get in out pajamas. We go in my room and I let her choose a movie "Which one baby girl". "Diss one mommy!" She points at Despicable Me 2. We watch this movie everyday but its whatever she wants. 30mins into the movie she goes to sleep and I was right behind her.
